A recusal is when someone withdraws from a process. Often it refers to a judge who withdraws from presiding over a case, perhaps because of concerns over their ability to remain unbiased in that particular case.

I’d do it right away. But I just received my results for the highest test for secondary education across the land... of South East Asia. I’ll be a bit inactive to diversify University options overseas.
