[DISCUSSION] Honorary Titles |
I've been thinking lately,
what if TSP had honorary titles? I've seen something similar - the TSP Legion of Honor Act - but what if we were to add to that? Like what if we established official titles for people to use? We might be able to incorporate titles into forum usernames, and we can have a list of all the awards, honours and titles in a pinned dispatch. Could this potentially be an amendment, or should it be referred to the LC?
Hi @Techganet
I think if this were to go forward, it perhaps should be part of a larger amendment to the TSP Legion of Honor Award Act which would expand the act to have a more cultural focus. On another note, seeing as you have created this thread, may I assume that your similarly titled thread located here can be deleted (as it has no content)? Edit: Please disregard my above question. I realise that I can still see it due to the Chair's moderation powers. It is indeed already deleted.
Considering the Legion of Honour Act is never used we should just get rid of it.

Since we’re talking about a repeal, I would like to inquire on the matter.
How is a law repealed? Is it by Assembly vote or does the High Court have the powers? So far as I know, the Court only repeals laws that violate the Charter.
