Councilors of the forum, it is clear for us that this issue is an alarming one indeed. Neither the Frost Empire has given substantial evidence that they are entitled to proclaim any form of sovereignity over the Reizen state. Reizen itself has no agreement that it wishes the Frost state to have influence over their state's decisions that would be applicable in the current state.

Bzerneleg also wishes to impose a forced head of government in Reizen by backing the side of the RDC, and only the RDC. Its alliance with Ryccia, which has a history in meddling with international affairs to supposedly destroy socialist influence, to further have active military personnel in Reizen, provides questionable motifs as to the issue seemed to be an expansion of their sphere of influence through violent means.

All of the Reizen theatre are subject to a form of violation under military law as well, most recently with the Catra death incident which potentially may wipe out the entire theatre had the World Forum not intervened in providing a cure and data logging the disease. It is also apparent that neither have been formally able to solve the humanitarian crisis from the trail of blaze they left behind the conflict zones.

Lian could not stand with the path of such states, and shudder to imagine that Peonic aid and support are given to those who partake in a senile and ineffectual imperialism. We have then open a discussion whether it is possible to establish a truce, a negotiation, and if possible, a referendum in Reizen to see who the people of Reizen wishes to govern them. The Reizen parties may classify themselves as a United State, with RIM, WPR and RDC in charge of an agreed territory under temporary guidance by the World Forum.

If such may not apply, the Reizen party may also become members of a parliamentary style democracy, with an elected leader under the helm of it all. If not, then the people of Reizen are entitled to construct their own system of government, or continue to work under the Frost Empire with close supervision from the World Forum.

If the World Forum does not provide any meaningful solution, then we believe we are wasting our time with this debate. The blood of the people of Reizen courses into the soil until it turns red, and those who do not spill their blood are left with nothing.

Delegate kei-mazen, I recall President Kensei's remarks. "My people and I have observed that organizations such as one that require a more formal structure have stagnated and failed because of their rigidity, bureaucracy and inability to act in times of crises." Huawan wishes for past mistakes of international organizations to not be repeated now. And thus if the Forum does not provide enough effort for mediation in this conflict, then the Peocracy shall walk out of the meeting and any further WF talks on the Reizen theatre until further notice.

OOC Reminder

This is a friendly reminder that this discussion canonically takes place over the course of a single day, and that this discussion is a much more relaxed rp to allow people who do not have time the opportunity to participate and bring some activity to the World Forum. Therefore, posts that are days and weeks apart will be treated ICly as if they occurred minutes after the previous response.

 



Ambassador Kei-Mazen shook his head, "I am appalled that the Delegate from Huawan would attempt to derail the forum from the issue at hand by questioning the legitimacy of the Empire's sovereignty. Furthermore, the delegate of Huawan has not yielded their time nor have they allowed the Empire time to retrieve and copy the relevant documents from our historic archives when they continued to double down on their false accusation and demanded impractical action in the span of a few minutes.

Huawan's tacit support of the Reizen Independence Movement is also shocking for a nation that allegedly seeks peace. The suggestion that the World Forum should allow the insurgents to 'reunite' as a 'united state' and take charge of a World Forum designated territory shows the Peocracy's ignorance of the situation in the Province. The RIM will inevitably lead any so called 'United State' due to their status as the strongest insurgency of the three insurgent groups.

I would strongly urge the Peocracy to focus on the matter of Bzerneleg aggression against the Frost Empire before continuing to levy false accusations and attempting to undermine the sovereignty of the Frost Empire."
