MY assumption was that he said he was going to withdraw on discord, but didnt officially post that he was in this thread.

I recall seeing Islands posting a short message in his campaign thread which read something along the lines of 'I'm withdrawing my candidacy.' He later deleted it when he changed his mind, which of course, is entirely his prerogative.

I must not have seen the original post. 

I mean, it was posted and deleted. I wouldn't have taken them off the list without an official post. I also checked on the backend to see that they did, in fact, delete a post from this thread. 

Which, honestly, is all fine. My post was just a gentle reminder to keep the EC in the loop when such things arise. No bigs.
