Oof. Olympia cut it close there.

Will the next round be the Quarterfinals between the 8 teams, then?

Oof, this is a rough pill for the Frost Empire to swallow. Losing to both Fauderland and RIM will change the emotional tide of the war with a jubilant RIM fighting an angrier and humiliated Empire.

But is interesting to see if soldiers will surpass athletes of other countries as the RIM surge into the quarterfinals.

RIM won't make it either, unfortunately, because they lost the three-way tiebreaker over goal averages to Sedunn and Faulderland. It's a heartbreaking way for RIM to go out as well.

Update on the men's World Cup: I've already sorted countries into groups and ran simulations for all of the group phase games. Though, I'm letting you know right now that the win percentage for the designated home team and designated away team was extremely lopsided when not allowing teams to score 120 points or more.

Edit: I will also work on the day-to-day group standings, which I failed to do before starting the Women's World Cup.
