This question relates to both the Chair and Delegate election — does the EC intend to be pinging on both Discord and gameside when the voting periods commence?

Wasn't the plan, but it can be done. In regard to the chair election, it will likely begin tomorrow morning unless someone else can start it — I'll be out of the town for much of today.

I apologize for making a very late announcement. I will not be seeking re-election to the office of Chair of the Assembly. Although I am very grateful of the support various legislators have given me, I have decided that it would be in the best interests of the Assembly and this region for me to step down from the office so a more qualified candidate can succeed me. I do this with no ill will and I hope my successor will be able to take the Assembly to a better place, where I was unable to do. It has been a very great honour for me to serve the last four months as your Chair. I have scheduled to make my State of the Assembly speech (my last speech) a few moment before I hand over the keys to the person who wins this election. Thank you.
