Dear Assembly,

under the Charter XI, officials may be recalled by vote of the Assembly if there is dereliction of duty. 

Awe has not logged into the forum at all for the last two weeks, and has not posted on Discord since June. Their nation has ceased to exist. According to the Court, Awe's unannounced absence has caused delay in Court activity. The Court is apparently no longer functioning, and has hardly been functioning for several months now. I think this fits the definition of dereliction of duty.

I therefore propose the recall of Awesomasia as Associate Justice.

The current Court inactivity troubles me greatly. I propose this recall with the hope and belief that the Court and Cabinet will be able to find a replacement. The Court itself admits that it is not functioning because its members do not have time to attend to court duty or are inactive. I truly hope that the removal of an inactive Justice and the arrival of a new Justice, who has time and is active, will be enough to re-invigorate the Court.

Reasonable. I very much hope this will lead to a productive search for a new AJ and not a long period with an unfilled position.

So do I. If any J or AJ causes a delay in court activity, especially if the latest last contact was 2 weeks ago, and even that was just a login, then they should be recalled.

I concur. I believe that all reasonable steps should be taken to remove and replace Awe as soon as possible.

the recall of Awesomeasia has passed.

There were 37 votes in total: 27 ayes, 1 nay, and 9 abstains.

The vote was passed with 97% voting in favour, exceeding the requirement of a 60% majority excluding abstentions.
