Farengeto: A New Record
#1

Hello TSP! Bit of a last-minute entry, but I thought I'd throw my hat in the race. If you've seen any of my past runs, you'll know I'm not big on these campaigns. The Chair is not a position with much policy involved, and I don't like to make those sorts of empty promises in this sort of campaign. I've always focused these more on the administrative side than promising some political agenda. So I'll keep this a bit brief. I could give you a spiel on how I'll keep voting running, notify for votes, all the usual chair promises. But I feel like most of those are pretty much implied at this point, so I'll jump a few points on my qualifications.
  • Experience: Collectively, I have served nearly a year as Chair over multiple terms in office. I am the second-longest-serving Chair in TSP history. So I am no stranger to the job. I know how it all works, I've done all of this multiple times before, and as Chair I can bring my experience and expertise in the position.
  • Legislator Roster: The current version of the Legislator Roster was created over two years ago during my previous tenure as Chair. At the time the Roster was a constantly changing set of documents, each being left to rot at the end of a term only to have a new document with a new link to be created by the new Chair. I brought this to an end, creating the sheet with continues to be used today. What isn't so well known is that for the past two years, I've continued to work in an administrative role on the roster, managing the security and stability of the document over many transitions. I've developed policies for it, and in the past couple months worked to properly formalize this with written policies and channels for coordination with those who have access.
  • Trust: One of the things you ultimately want in a Chair is someone you can trust. Nothing else matters in the end if you can't trust the Chair to do the job fairly and properly. For over six years I've worked for the good of this region. I've worked in roles from Chair to Justice to CRS for years, and I hope that all those years of working to protect our democratic institutions is enough to convince you to trust me again now.
Thank you all, and I hope you'll vote for Farengeto for Chair of the Assembly.  There's not much time left before voting begins, but I welcome all your campaign questions.
