Empress Annette Aerinn Denounces FiHamian Terrorists

AESTHWINTER PALACE A terrorist group in a foreign nation has reportedly been claiming Antarchan ancestry.

This group, called the "Antarchi" by the citizens of the nation of FiHami, claim that they arrived in the 1600's as part of a fleet that had shipwrecked on the coast of the nation.  They had taken over the island briefly under the name of the old empire of Antarch.  Based on the claims of the native citizens of the island nation of FiHami, the so-called "Antarchs", dubbed "Antarchi" by the citizens, proceeded to abuse human rights of the native citizens with the goal of "spreading the Antarch Empire".  

The Empire of Antarcha has been silent regarding the development since word first broke out due to internal conflicts in the Chamber of Starks.  Since January, Chamber of Starks representative Janess Hull debated that "These issues do not concern our Empire.  We do not need to infringe on the inherent rights of every civilization just because they use our name.

Empress Annette Aerinn has denounced the group, calling them "terrorists" and stating that "These so-called 'Antarchs' have brought a massive stain on the face of the Empire of Antarcha.  We, the Empire of Antarcha, have nothing to do with these false imperialists."

Antarcha's Minister of Foreign Affairs has said that he will send an ambassador to the island of FiHami to discuss matters, if the representative of FiHami agreed.  

"It is important to us, to preserve what dignity we have left thanks to these terrorists using our name to fuel their genocide."  Ambassador James Cornelius said on a stream post.

Anti-Imperialists Protests Near Aesthwinter Palace Cause Road Blockade

AESTHWINTER PALACE Nearly 40,000 Antarchan citizens have taken to the roads in the fifth protest this year regarding the Empire's ruling family.

The ruling family, which currently includes 49-year-old Emperor Arthur Aerinn, 48-year-old Empress Annette Aerinn, 18-year-old daughter princess Wyntere Aerinn, 16-year-old son prince Thuramin Aerinn, and 13-year-old daughter princess Kylinna Aerinn, are a widely-revered family, founded by Oriwinn Aerinn in the 1700's after a coup from the White family.  The Aerinn dynasty is most known for ending Antarchan colonization and encouraging education of all in the 1800's.

Since 2015, however, groups of anti-imperialists have vocally stated their disbelief with the Empire.  Main concerns include the fact that the ruling family these days have no true governmental power, and are only there for ceremonial reasons. 

"There is no reason to have an Emperor in modern Antarcha.  We need our government fully functional.  We should not be supporting these imperialists with our well-earned Dinerii!"  One random citizen, who wished to remain anonymous, told the A.E.

The blockade has caused businesses along the main road to shut down for the day.  Many people who need to use the main road are being told to take a detour along Winterkite street and Jaybird street to get around the protests.

The Aerinn family is said to be hosting a ceremony of intent for the young princess Wyntere on Wednesday, the 27th of November.  Time will tell if the ceremony will go as planned.

Antarchan Anti-Imperialist Party Forms

MINT Anti-Imperialist Protestors in Mint have announced that they have created an entire political party based in Mint earlier this week.

The AAIP, headed by Linn Hofwegen, has issued an entire platform for the party. They are pushing for the removal of the imperial family and any titles related to it, more expansive welfare, more funding for sports and leisure, and, more recently, war with Qaweritoyu.

"Because of the imperial family, we are losing many millions of dollars which could be used to promote more leisurely activity and bolster our education system. We could be giving the needy people in Antarcha more money, we could be making homeless shelters far more insulating to reduce deaths in the harsh Antarchan winter, which is rapidly approaching, you should know!" Party Spokesman Halvard Boon said.

Empress Annette Aerinn had previously stated that the imperial family is integral to Antarchan customs, and vacating Aesthwinter Palace would be a "huge detriment" to the culture.

Empress Annette Aerinn Dies of Heart Attack

AESTHWINTER PALACE This morning, at 06:48 Local Time, an ambulance was called to the Aesthwinter Palace.  Empress Annette Aerinn was found unconscious by her husband that morning, and the Empress was reported dead at the scene.  

Coroners examined the body for cause of death, announcing that the death was caused by a heart attack.  Annette Aerinn was 48 years old.

Princess Wyntere Aerinn has declined to comment for now on her mother's death.  However, when asked about policies she would be promoting as Empress, Wyntere was reported saying to the Aesthwinter Chronicles:

"As Empress, I will continue to advocate for education for everyone, in line with our values.  I may never be able to study geoscience like I wanted, but I can make sure that those after me will have the motivation and ability to do so.  I will seek to extend our influence once again as a safe, happy place to live and a beacon of liberty unto the world."
