The new Constantino Class destroyers

Yesterday, the Novanian Royal Navy called for a press conference, where they made another announcement. In it, they declared that two destroyers of the new Constantino Class, the RNS Constantino and the RNS Imperial were deployed into service. These new warships were quietly developed and built by the navy during recent years, and have been deployed two days ago.

"These ships will strengthen the Novanian Navy. With the recent tensions around the world Great Novania needs to be prepared to defend itself in a war, if it happens." Declares James Rachello, an Admiral of the NRN.

The Constantino Class is the sixth ship Built to "Strengthen the Novanian Navy", along with well known designs such as the Nova Star Battleship, the Conquista Aircraft Carrier and the Império Submarine. As of the late, the NRN has quickly been gaining strength. This increase in military power can also be observed in other parts of the Novanian Military, with the deployment of new tanks and new aircraft. The reason of this is, according to ranked military personell, to "Protect the nation", but some theorize that this is not true, but rather that Great Novania is preparing itself to go war.

The city of Horizon in the night

Recently, due the rising tensions all over the world, many extremist anti religious groups have been appearing all over Great Novania. These groups blame all the problems of the world in the religions, saying that the "religious fools" are causing all the things that trouble the world. Some of these groups have used social media and the internet to both organize theirselves and to grow their numbers. The most prominent of these groups is known as "A Voz da Razão" or "The Voice of Reason" if translated. Recently in 10/02, they have committed a murder attempt on the Novanian Minister of Rural Affairs. Gabriel medeiros, the minister in question, was badly injured by a 32 year old female called Adriana Dias Souza, attacked the minister near his residence, located in the city of Horizon. She used a 9mm pistol to shoot the minister when he was leaving his home. She was able to hit four shots, one in the arm, two in the torso and one in the leg, but was killed by the minister's security before shooting any more. These recent events have led Novanian authorities to attempt to hunt the members of these groups all over the nation, but it has not been very sucessful.
