Press Release regarding recent unidentified disease Citizens of Eggraria, A recent disease outbreak was discovered initially in the 7th District. Later discoveries were found in the 10th and 14th, which have been later identified as due to travel. Likewise, it is highly suggested that many citizens opt in to delay travel across provinces that have been found with a trace of the unidentified disease, which currently are understood to be the 7th, 5th, 10th, 14th, and 1st. Those within these areas are advised to follow basic health procedures to avoid contamination. Further development on the topic will be further assisted with the World Forum Health Council, and thus the Eggrarian Medical Association will be keen to update the proper officials on discoveries. So far, the following has been discovered regarding the disease: Autopsy reports and other research efforts have shown the disease primarily begins around the stomach lining and gastrointestinal tract. The following symptoms are advised to be checked out: - Bloating or Heaviness on Stomach - Sudden Desire to Expel Excrement - Abnormally slow metabolism - Nausea - Fainting - frequent Stomach or abdominal cramps The people of Eggraria are advised to check with doctors about the proper treatment for individuals. Due to the lack of understanding of the disease, medical professionals seek to treat symptoms and alleviate any potential secondary complications.

Hundreds in Outrage over Days-long Outage

After the announcement of a violent protest in the 14th District, the entire nation has been without internet. Hundreds have begun protesting the government’s inability to act on the issue, and in a sudden turn of events, an emergency Special Committee was formed regarding the issue within the Eggrarian government. Talks with the Eggrarian government officials have turned fruitless, but recently discovered the new policy that will occur. Internet lines will begin construction in the First and Third Districts in order to outsource the 14th District’s power over the remaining lines throughout the nation. Furthermore, the districts have voted to reprimand the district for allowing it to happen. An investigation will occur within the area, with the details of this investigation being secret. On the streets, several rejoice for the government’s decision to take a new approach to taking back the 14th. Meanwhile, others begin to sympathize with the protestors for their message of isolationism. An interview with an isolationist once said: Quote:They’re running into something they shouldn’t be with all of this international stuff. Soon enough we’ll be relying on our allies, and getting involved in wars, and doing things that shouldn’t pertain to us. If we had to fight, we shouldn’t be expected to fight for something that isn’t our war. We need to stay isolationist because if we don’t, we run out of resources for ourselves. International News: Rise of a Long-Time Rival

Theories run amok around the districts as word has gotten out that an ancient separatist group from the first Eggrarian council tribes has begun the beginning stages of forming another nation. ![[Image: snWZ10w.png]](https://i.imgur.com/snWZ10w.png) Supposedly, the ancient Tribe of Teokratika has begun a push for organization under a One State, One God rule, in which their religious leader will become their political leader as well. For those unfamiliar with Teokratika’s history with Eggraria, here’s a summary: Eggraria was initially formed out of 16 nomadic tribes that all came from various different sects and peoples, the primary of which was Ovaria, a particularly ancient tribe that had taken the ideas of female fertility and “eggs” (that which gives life) as a primary thing to be worshipped, which is why even today, over 50% of public office is ran by female leaders in a Eggraria. However, Teokratika, a separationist movement based on religion, had opted out of the settlement of Eggraria several centuries ago and ushered in a nomadic approach throughout. The difference between Teokratika and Ovaria is that they both worship different gods: Teokratika worships the paganistic god of Order and War, Teo, and Ovaria worshipped the goddess of fertility, Ovaria. While most religious practices in Eggraria have subsided following the 1952 Secular State Act, Teokratikan advocacy groups have remained active in Eggraria as well as unclaimed political areas of the world. More will develop as time goes on.

BREAKING: Eggrarian Head of Office of Intelligence Confirmed Dead
Erikə Malak, a long-time security expert in Eggraria, has been found assasinated in the Fourteenth province after making a visit for an undisclosed purpose. Current authorities claim that the officer was assasinated by violent insurrectionists. The Fourteenth province has been in rebellion for the past couple of weeks, claiming that the Eggrarian government would be doing a disservice to allow the rapid expansion into the international community. Many of the citizens have expressed their concerns through protests along the borders, which recently devolved into violent insurrections across the border by not only the citizens, but the local provincial police as well. The Fourteenth’s local government has failed to speak on the issue of the Eggrarian isolationist insurrections, and many citizens have expressed rumors that the local province is behind the actual insurrections. Many Eggrarians fear war and call upon the Presiding Minister to address these concerns. The Presiding Minister has yet to comment on the death of Malak. We at OFI express our condolences for the Malak family and the Eggrarian citizens who knew her well.

Distributed by the Eggrarian Press Office The Following is a list of proposals and summaries of these proposals that will be voted upon on Feb. 14th, 2020, as part of the end of the First Quarter of 2020’s governmental affairs: 1. The Special Committee on Insurrectionist Movements I. Eggrarian Defense Proposal Reapportions the budget to fit the needs of increased defense spending. Eggrarian foreign affairs will be strengthened to reach for arms trade. An offensive attack will be made to occupy the Fourteenth and reaffirm Eggrarian sovereignty. Mixed popularity among members. II. Eggrarian Unity Act Councils will be held to discuss peace between the insurrectionists. Their military leader will meet with the council to discuss. Defensive procedures will go as usual. Relative support among members. 2. The Eggrarian Committee on Transportation I. Renewable Energy and Public Transit Act Creates and develops transit systems through every province. These transit systems will run on electricity and other renewable resources. Internal city transit will be slowly integrated into a new system with renewable energy. Free and available public transit also is encouraged in larger cities. Strong support among members. 3. The Eggrarian Committee on Foreign Affairs I. The Council on Eggrarian Assistance Creates a Council under the Emergency Committee, and designates all embassies to discuss with other nations regarding safe trade and foreign dealings with the Eggrarian insurrectionists. Strong support among members. 4. Eggrarian Committee on Health I. Regarding the Gastrointestinal Disease Creates and encourages full study on the disease to find a cure. Strong support among members. 5. Eggrarian Committee on Technology I. Mass Media Communications Act Creates offices of the government in the hope that they connect through mass media. Social media accounts will be created for the Eggrarian government in hopes that they can reach the populace. Relative support among members.

Written by Janetui Cassata Eggraria has been in one of the most turmoiled months of its lifespan, experiencing political infighting that led up to an official declaration of civil war and the capturing of Pacitə, a city bordering the conflict up until its capture alongside several different cities and resources. ![[Image: lDF7v5T.jpg]](https://i.imgur.com/lDF7v5T.jpg) The City of Pacitə after a destructive bombing by insurrectionists occured. The month was colored by the death of an important Intelligence Office leader, Erikə Malak, having been assasinated in the Eggrarian 14th District. It was later revealed in official documents that the Eggrarian Intelligence Office primarily wished to see about any foreign influence within the District, as it could lead to an external war. The investigation regarding this has been halted, but will continue in later time. Furthermore, the matters of the Teokratikan tribe gaining a homeland in Bailtem has set a new enemy in foreign affairs for the Eggrarian government, seeking a hopeful reconciliation of past wars with the Teokratikans regarding the matter. However, Teokratika has been rather silent in their particular matter of participation. The Eggrarian Committee of Representatives closed in the middle of the month, deciding to mobilize troops on the increasingly hostile border in the Fourteenth, having passed the Eggrarian Defense Proposal with reservations, including a friendly amendment which removed the offensive attack clause. Legislation that made the floor tackled many of the current issues of the quarter, and look forward to a peaceful end to conflicts arising. That did not stop matters from worsening. Domestically, civil liberties have become an impressively active hot seat with the matters of civilian police rights, polyamory laws, AI citizenship and marriage equality, and the founding of a new NGO in the borders of Eggraria known as the World Civil Equality Commission (WCEC). In foreign affairs, Eggraria became much more active in the World Forum and reached out to others in the Bailtem continent to begin work on a continental union. Eggraria also plans to build a trans-continental railroad throughout Bailtem to further unify the area. The month capped off with the loss of more borders in the 8th District, setting discomfort around the nation regarding the fear of stability and the future of civil war. The turmoil of the month begins a new precedent in the era of Eggraria, setting the stage for a much bigger conflict.
