My Candidacy Speech/description
#1

Right off the bat, I want to explain something, I have only been a legislator for a few months and I've only been in TSP a year so if it seems like I'm incompetent. I probably am...

Ok so, this may seem under effort but I basically just wanna work with the community more to make changes so it can be improved upon and made to withstand the future. I stand for all the other things the people have said, freedom, transparency, and democracy. However, I want to do more. I DONT WANT TO PROMISE, I WANT TO DO.
Without your help everyone... I can’t DO that. So with the power of my mind and the strength in my thumbs, I WILL IMPROVE THE TSP! I mAy No T be T h E shaRpesT TooL iN the ShEd, but I am not gonna give up blindly in the face of more popular opponents.
I actually hope one of them wins! So TL;DR I wanna improve tsp to withstand the future and I need your help! Thanks for giving me a read and thinking about voting. This place is amazing and I’m gonna do something great one day.

This is how I entered the candidates list, I said, “I nominate myself as prime minister?”.

So that’s just for a little context on how I’m even here...

COI

1. So how would you improve TSP from where it is today?
I would probably increase the number of mods so we could work toward a kid-friendly and safer community overall.

2. How familiar are you with how the ministries here work? Were you ever involved in any of them?
I Haven't been involved in any ministries or know how they work but I am always up to learn new things about anything.

3. How would you see TSP in the future?
I see it as a beacon of what other regions should strive to be.

4. What are your thoughts on the style of recruitment
I think that it could use some tweaks but, overall its as perfect as it will get.

5.  How will you do anything even though it is your first  year on NationStates and your comparably stupid to other competitors
Ok so here's the deal, I will try my best to learn and apply my knowledge to TSP. But I will need the communities help sometimes. There will be bad times and there will be good times and ill strive to keep us near the middle or in the good times!

6. Have you been outside our region?
No only for 5 minutes, and it was my own failed region called the northern empire.

7. What do you plan to do should you not be elected?
Continue as a legislator and keep helping my community make BIG desicons!

8. Who is your favorite historical figure, and why?
My favorite historical figure is probably Benjamin Oliver Davis who was the first black man to become an acting brigadier general in the united states army.

9. How hands-on do you plan to be with each ministry? After all, each minister has its own mandate to govern but the PM is expected to be the leader of government so how do you deal with these competing ideas?
So here's the idea. I'm gonna take in all the input and make a cumulative decision based on what everyone's leading party decides. Then that decision is tweaked and tuned to fit just about everyone's decision.
10. Do you have any specific policy ideas?
I still haven't picked one but I know I'm not doing imperialism. However, I may do something along the lines of Peace and Prosperity if that answers your question?
11 If by chance you are not successful in this campaign, what areas of TSP (i.e. which ministry) would you be interested in getting further involved in? If by chance you are not successful in this campaign, what areas of TSP (i.e. which ministry) would you be interested in getting further involved in?
In the legislative sector of TSP, I don't know where votes are posted so I may lose my position. Idk.

Even if I'm not elected I have to say that... this community is amazing and I love it here no matter what! You guys have done a great job so far and I feel like you've been successful in your efforts to make it somewhat kid-friendly.

Hello there!

Just wanna let you know that your campaign won't be valid without a conflicts of interest declaration

My questions to you, would be:
1. So how would you improve TSP from where it is today?

and

2. How familiar are you with how the ministries here work? Were you ever involved in any of them?

I have three questions for you:
1. What do you plan to do should you not be elected?
2. Who is your favorite historical figure, and why?
3. How hands-on do you plan to be with each ministry? After all, each minister has its own mandate to govern but the PM is expected to be the leader of government so how do you deal with these competing ideas?
Above all else, I hope to be a decent person.

I don't have anything to add beyond what has already been asked other than to say that it's nice to see new people running for positions Happywide

Hi Rich — Could you please provide a brief conflict of interest disclosure? Just a list of puppets and regions you've participated in should be fine. Thanks!

Worth pointing out that the candidate has answered all questions thus far with edits to their opening post. Just in case people had not noticed.
