Official Eggrarian broadcasting logos appear on screen along with a scrolling headline at the bottom. Occasional reporters come on to report information while rather calm, upbeat music plays.
Reporter: “We have gone officially live with the recent GID-20 outbreak reaching hundreds of thousands of citizens. “ Another reporter: “Yes, right now we’re here delivering statistics and information from the Office of Health on the issues at hand.” A graphic of Eggraria appears. Each area is highlighted in a gradient of blue to red, blue signifying the least amount of cases, while a dark red signifies the most. The 14th District is grey, as no data is provided. After a couple days of the same information, the livestreams have changed to an official announcement from the Presiding Minister.
"Citizens, in times of panic, we look to a day where we will have this cure. We are working well within our ability as well as with individuals across the South Pacific who have experienced the disease. We have since discovered many things about the disease, such as how it is spread and what it does to your body." "Likewise, we will be working very closely with scientists and have many of our best working with the World Forum. Government personnel have been keen to ensure that we are not affected, and we can assure you that our leadership will not fall ill or perish during these times." "I would like to inform you of a few recommendations for the safety of households across the nation. While we have done tremendous work to test people, we have yet to release a list of most affected. Today, luckily, will be that day. Those with previous history of eating disorders, stomach or gastrointestinal cancer, toddlers from birth to 5, and the elderly from 55 to 85 are at risk. All of which individuals ought to be tested." "We have reason to believe that the 14th District is a high risk area. Even though they are in defection from the nation, and though they may not listen to our situation, we must allow them the same regulations of other high risk areas." "Resturants will be closed and reimbursed for the time being. All food stock items will be replenished after the quarantine, and grocery stores will be heavily monitored for disease-carrying specimens." "Finally, we urge groups of 100 or more to disperse, especially if the uncertainty of the health of even one individual is at stake. We are lucky that we are not fighting a silent, asymptomatic disease." The broadcast continued like such, with the occasional recap of the announcement.
