[PASSED] Amendment to the Legislator Committee Act (Expanding size)

This has been brought to a vote here.

Alright, so not too long ago, I reapplied for Legislator cause I took a break from places (which I often do time to time). At this time there were some elections ongoing and stuff, so people got delegislated by Roavin for inactivity or missing nations idk.

Hakke and I applied, and about 5 others or so did as well, so we'll just say 7 total for simplicity. At least 2 being ones that had just been delegislated within 24 hours or so.

At least 3 were put into pending almost immediately or a couple hours from placing applications (again including the 2). While the rest were ignored. Then sometime later, at least the 2 were regiven legislator status, while the remainder majority was ignored in either pending or approval.

Now I don't blame any person for this, to be clear. Regardless, this pissed me off. I have been a citizen/legislator quite a few times in TSP over the years. Personally TSP hasn't been much of an interest to me, at least not until the past months. Though also at this time, I am less active in NS as a whole though, so despite my now found interest I'm not as active or involved just for more NS burnout reasons than anything else.

I have a history in NS, defender, raider, this region, that region, blah blah. I don't think though that I have a good reputation nor a bad one, more somewhere in the middle. I do have plenty of people to vouch for my character though that I am particularly harmless.

Then we have Hakke, who has also been a citizen/legislator here too. He has less history, but I'd say he has a better reputation than I. The others, I don't know or really remember who they are so I can't say anything about them for examples.

I do know that I didn't like the rest of us have to wait more days or weeks than necessary and yet some others seemingly don't have this issue at all. Even taking out the equation of certain people being busy at that specific time period and stuff, this really shouldn't happen in that way except for people with more bad reputations or complete unknowns. I hardly think that Hakke and I are either of those things.

I do support changing from 3 max to 5 max. On the other hand, the same situation can result regardless of number be 1 or 100 (Though I would assume the higher the number the more quicker it would be otherwise than a lower number). Meaning that the organizational aspect of this is also not as efficient. Imagine it was Prairie and I instead of Hakke, but the same thing happened?

So once there is 5 people, I think ya'll should go over how to be more effective about this. It would make some sense for unknowns or people with negative histories, but not for those who are known or there reputations are better or balanced.

Well said. While I am late to the discussion, this is why you should have the head of state appoint a minister who can appoint unlimited deputies.

If the minister of citizenship/related is allowing for what you discussed, We the People could easily have him removed and institute one that will be effective.

Right now, who is held accountable? No one.

With that in mind, I will be voting in support of this legislation. It is a bandaid for a gunshot wound, but better to do that than nothing.

You can recall the Minsters of the Cabinet who appointed them, or the Legisaltor Committee members themselves.

So... you're wrong?
