I'm proposing this just so that we can set a general standard for future cabinets on who to appoint with RO powers. It would be weird and confusing if from one cabinet to another you get different Ministers who are given different RO powers. I picked those Ministers as they are the ones that the current cabinet has chosen to appoint with RO powers as well as the MoC and MoE wouldn't really need RO powers.

Amendment to the Regional Officers Act Wrote:
Regional Officers Act
 
An act providing for the granting of Regional Officer powers to government officials

...

2. Regional Officers

...

(3) The Cabinet ministers will be allotted between one and four Regional Officer positions Minister of Media, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of Defence shall each be granted a Regional Officer position and shall be granted Appearance, Communications, and Polls powers. They will decide which Cabinet ministers among them will be granted Embassies power.

Those three weren't even picked for any solid reasons. MoD wasn't even supposed to keep RO, we just never got around to appointing someone else. And MoM was because I was already an RO.

That is to say, no.

This is just objectively worse than the flexibility we have now.

I think the only thing that matters for RO is limiting who can have Border Control. The other abilities are easily reversible in case of abuse and are more likely to be given out for reason or duty. I don't think it's necessary to define anything else.

Border control is only given to the CRS (and the delegate by default). I agree with how the cabinet/delegate agreed to assign the ROs. Flexibility in the law is good, and so long as we can cover as many potential ROs [positions] with the 12 spots available, I am all for it.
