[PASSED] A2011.04 Amendment to the Elections Act (Permanent Ballots)

Legislators,

There has been a seconded motion to bring an amendment to the Elections Act to vote. The debate thread can be found here.

As this is an amendment to a constitutional law, it requires a three-fifths supermajority to pass. The voting period will last 5 days, ending on November 26 at 20:30 UTC. (20:30 in London, 15:30 in New York, 7:30 on the 27th in Sydney)

Please vote by poll if possible. If you cannot vote by poll, post 'Aye', 'Nay' or 'Abstain' in this thread. Please do not vote both by poll and by post. Comments and discussion belong in the debate thread and should be posted there.

2. Electoral System

(3) Voters will have the option to cast their vote using either a public or a secret ballot. The method of private voting will be selected by the Election Commission. The method must utilize an unaffiliated account or server, with the method and all votes remaining available for audit. Named ballots are not to be released under any circumstances. Once cast, ballots in forum-based elections may not be altered.
