Dear Prime Minister,
From the end of January, I will have a lot of unpaid placement on top of my university study. As such, I will not have sufficient time to carry out the duties of a Justice of the High Court of the South Pacific. Hence, I intend to resign. Since there are about two months until I actually shall have to go, I am happy to stay on as a Justice until a replacement is appointed so as to avoid overloading the current bench. I understand that this is also the wish of the Court (though the Chief Justice may wish to clarify this with the Cabinet). If there are no objections from Cabinet, I will continue to serve until a replacement is installed. It would be greatly appreciated if you could bring this letter before Cabinet and could also convey their response back to me. I trust that the Cabinet will not make details of my impending resignation public until I have had a chance to make a formal press release. I intend to make a public statement soon after the Cabinet has confirmed they are happy to proceed (i.e. before the application process begins). Nat would like to announce his intent to resign shortly with the actual resignation coming January 30 2021. Does anyone have a problem with this?

Kris says that they have their own that they use.
They are waiting on the Cabinet to be okie with this so that Nat can announce his intent and they can find a replacement before the end of January.
