Mathematical impossibility in the Legislator Committee Act |
Now, it may be that I have misinterpreted this, but the clause below doesn't make much sense. If there were only two votes in a month, it's mathematically impossible for a legislator to be absent for more than half of all votes. If there was such a scenario, they'd miss a mathematical maximum of 50% of all votes for the month, which is not more than half – it is exactly half. Now, if the minimum was three votes, then the mathematical maximum of missed votes would be 66.6...%.
Well, technically, if they vote in one of the two votes that would put them at "half of all votes" not "more than half of all votes"; thus only missing both votes would disqualify a legislator.
