I believe the initial pick was "Sovereignty Coalition", but was too similar to "Sovereign Confederation", or whatever it was, which was why we stuck with "Partnership for Sovereignty". If I had it my way, it would be "the Coalition of Upholding Peak Sovereignty" or "CoUPS" for short, but we don't live in a perfect world... I believe it was decided not to brand this as something purely "defender", since regions that the bloc could potentially expand into do not necessarily need to be defender. They just need to be willing to cooperate with us and agree with the principles laid out in article 1. Not sure if that made sense. I apparently have a habit of saying things that make sense only in my head.
I don't think it's "bullying" to suggest that the voting ratio for an organisation such as this should reflect the relative size of the regions involved. At the very least something like qualified majority voting should be considered.
