Hello, TSP!
As I’m sure most of you know, I’m Royaltica. I am a part of the ministries of Culture, Media, and Foreign Affairs. Events have always been my favorite thing in TSP. In the former Ministry of Regional Affairs, I was always excited about the idea of running for Minister of Regional Affairs, but I didn’t know how to handle the other things in the ministry besides Culture. After the split, the Ministry of Culture is literally what I dreamed of becoming minister of, and I hoped to accomplish lots of events, and bring the South Pacific together in these difficult times. And I hope that with your support I can accomplish that!

Things I’ll Do
If I get elected, I will make sure everyone can have a chance to showcase their skills. What I mean by that is I won’t just give the lead role of an event to the people who have a good reputation. I’ll give the lead role to other people too, to see if they are good at it. Some events will be led by me as well, because what’s the fun of being minister if you can’t plan events too? I will form a checklist to assure that all events are the best they can be. That can come in handy for impressing regions during a meet with them to form diplomatic bonds. I will also continue with Swifty’s events. Regarding roleplay, I’m looking forward to talking with roleplay leaders and make roleplay better. Roleplay lets your imagination run wild, while helping the social community grow, so I believe roleplay is a fundamental part of TSP’s community.

Activeness
Activeness... might not be my greatest strength. But if I know myself well, I can plan a lot of an event in a short amount of time. I am only available on NS for a bit on the weekdays, but I can be very active on weekends. But I am working on being active longer.

The TSP Campus
I don’t think the campus has been finished yet. If it hasn’t been finished, then to get it finished, I will list it as top priority on the Culture To-Do list, and see who wants to help. Then, I will hire “teachers”, who will run discussions about IRL topics. There will be a teacher for each subject. For the NationStates part, I will again hire “teachers” who know lots of things about NS. But I am not just ignoring Penguin and Phoenix, who are already working on it. If they want, I can stay out of the campus. But if they’d like, I will help get the campus finished, but I will listen to their ideas as well.

Advertising Department
I believe the ministry will get nowhere without advertising. Advertising will help get new people to join the ministry, and it will help spread the messages about current and upcoming events, so people can join, and have a fun time and meet new South Pacificans.

Culture Leaderboard
To encourage people to participate more, I will start giving points to participators! Here is the points system, and the rewards you can earn (this is just a draft): https://docs.google.com/drawings/d/1pYCp...sp=sharing. If you have any questions, please ask. Also, a dash means I haven’t decided that prize yet. Suggestions will be appreciated.

To The Cabinet of Winter 2020-2021
Hello. You probably knew about the issue between Penguin and me, regarding an event, and how I didn’t tell Penguin I was doing it. Well, I apologize for that, but I would like to say I did not have bad intentions. I meant for it to be a surprise, and I did not mean to harm the ministry in any way. Thank you.

Conflict of Interest
I do not participate in other regions currently, and have not participated in other regions in the past. For my position as ambassador, I have two puppets. Kundhala is my puppet in Conch Kingdom, and Nuevaesia is my puppet in the West Pacific.

It’s All Up To You Now!
I hope you know that I will try my best to be the best minister possible! I may not be perfect, but no one is perfect. The choice is in your hands. Thank you for your time, and goodbye!

You've sent a total of 8 messages in all of the MoC channels. You have been barely involved, if at all, in the (admittedly limited) events that have been planned. You say that you are part of the Ministry of Media as well--which is true--but you have not done anything in MoM either, only having sent 5 messages in the MoM channels. You admit that activeness is not your greatest strength, but if the past term has been anything to go off of, how can we be sure that you aren't as inactive, if not more inactive, than Swifty?

Additionally, you say that your inactivity isn't an issue because you can plan events in a short period of time. That implies that you'll be doing all of the work, which contradicts with your plan to delegate the responsibility of leading events to other people. Will your inactivity affect your ability to coordinate projects with people who might not be very active at the same time you are?

Additionally, events are just about planning them. How about running events? How will you run events if you are inactive?

You say that roleplay will be under the control of a Deputy Minister. However, the roleplay community is currently already operating autonomously, with no need for a MoC-assigned leader. But I understand that this may simply be a poorly worded statement. So, I would like you to clarify: what do you plan for this roleplay-focused Deputy to do? Will they work to make events with the roleplay community? Will they be a de facto leader of the roleplay community? Or something else?

You seem to express that you aren't sure about the state of the TSP Campus. How can you coordinate the TSP Campus if you don't even know what state it's in right now?

Are you or are you not assigning a deputy to roleplay? I bring this up because your 1st and 3rd statements completely contradict each other.

In addition, how can TSP trust you to make decisions about the community roleplay when you clearly state that you "don't like roleplay".

I'm going to say this because I know that someone else is going to ask you: how can TSP trust you to follow the Cabinet directive considering you have previously gone behind the authority of your former overseeing Minister to the benefit of your own agenda regardless of its intentions?

Um...what? You do know that roleplay has historically not been subject to government control, right?

I have been inactive for a while, but now I am getting back into NS again. I am active now, and I asked to be involved in the Lampshades event, but you and Swifty mainly talked about it, so I stayed out. Swifty also hasn't been letting me run events.

I can also lead events. Since I know about planning, I can help with whatever the lead of an event needs. Inactivity won't be a problem, because it's not like I was online 24/7 before. I was still able to lead events, so I believe that won't be a problem.

I will run events, because we will schedule when the event will be, so I can make sure I have no things in IRL to do, and I will be able to run them.

Yes, by that I meant they will work with the roleplay community and be like the connection between MoC and Roleplay. I don't mean that they will become the leader of roleplay, because as you said, roleplay is operating independently, but roleplay is still in MoC, so I think MoC should also assist with things in roleplay.

I don't know about the state of the TSP Campus, because I wanted to know how it was going when I was the Deputy in MoRA, but I didn't really get a lot of info. I just got that it is still getting planned, and then I didn't hear anything about it.

Oh, I realize it sounds like that when I read it aloud. I meant that the reason for assigning a deputy is not because I don't like it.

I didn't mean to say "I don't like it", I meant to say that the reason for assigning a deputy was not because I don't like roleplay (I do like roleplay).

I didn't realize my campaign was so confusing Smile

About the Cabinet issue, you can trust me from now on. Before, I was working with Seraph on the event when he was MoRA, then when Penguin came, for some reason I just thought she knew. I only realized I didn’t inform her when Swifty won the election, so I told him because I thought he was the minister already (I didn’t know about the lame duck period). Then Swifty told Penguin, Penguin got mad, then everything else. So now, I will remember to tell my superiors because I’ve already seen how things will play out, so I will be more careful and not forget.

Just like I told Hyacinth, I meant to say that roleplay events, and anything that is part of roleplay that needs assistance, will be handled by the deputy and me.

I’ve edited my campaign, and I’ve taken the deputy out. Instead of managing roleplay, I’m going to help the leaders in the roleplay community. I will work with them (if they allow it) to make roleplay better, instead of taking control.

Thank you to the 5 people who voted for me. It may only be a few votes, but you have shown me that if I prove myself to be capable of handling events, there are people who support me.
