VRANDARIA FOR MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS
OCTOBER CABINET ELECTION

Introduction
Hello fellow legislators. As the Cabinet Election rounds here, we have a choice to make. We have been drawn into a few problems recently, and it is our job to pull ourselves out of them. This Election will determine the fate of the South Pacific, because if we let these problems run out, we will never fix them.

This Election is about leadership, and who will guide us through the light of the tunnel we have been in for far too long. I have taken on the responsibility of Cabinet Minister to guide our great democratic region to glory. Only YOU can help us.

I am Vrandaria, a nation with full loyalty to the South Pacific and its democratic and international aiding ideologies. So, why me? Why am I running for Minister of Foreign Affairs?
About Me
I have decided to take a stand against our problems. I have joined the South Pacific in August (yes, I am probably one of the newest politicians in the South Pacific) But first, why should you trust me?

I am the correct choice in this election, but for different reasons than you may think. I am a fresh face not just to South Pacificans, but to the South Pacific as a whole. I act on instincts and if needed will promptly come up with great ideas. Too many experienced players are very good at their jobs, but too many of them are TOO experienced. You know what that means? They undoubtedly know all the tips and tricks for themselves. I am not in any way implying candidates for Minister of Foreign Affairs are like this, but a fresh face to the scene is what we need.
I know just enough to lead this wonderful place, but not enough to help myself to power.
Leadership
I am a firm believer that if you have leadership, you can accomplish anything. It doesn't matter what I think on the issues ; it matters if I have a sense of leading. Of governing. Of being responsible for anything under my branch.

Leadership will get us through these times. And yes, maybe I am new. And yes, maybe I have never served as Cabinet Minister. But I know in my heart that a person who reads this will feel in their heart too : This is the right guy.

Leadership is a sense that you get when a person is talking. When you read a person's statement. Do you feel it? Well, I feel that I am ready. Too many politicians try to be too fancy to avoid the truth about their instincts. They make it too good to feel true. I am being straight up ; you either like me or you don't, but I act on problems faster than you will blink.

Why This Particular Minister?
I have always loved diplomatic relations. I have always loved to visit smaller regions to see how life is. Minister of Foreign Affairs has opportunity. For all of us. The South Pacific is indeed very peaceful, always cleaning after raiders. However, as Minister of Foreign Affairs, I will hope to build stronger relations with allies and enemies alike. I hope that the South Pacific will always be known as the peacekeeping region.

As Minister I would like to build relationships between democratic regions and the South Pacific.
Overview
Essentially, I am trying to give you a message. I am trying to make you trust my leadership. If you felt a tingly feeling of heroism while reading this, then you trust me. I have run for Minister of Foreign Affairs for a reason, and it's your choice to find out whether to accept it or not.
Conflicts of Interest About Myself/Experience
I am currently a legislator (probably the one of the newest one if not THE newest) and I have generally always been devoted to the South Pacific. I love our democratic dreams and wouldn't trade the world to move from here. I have visited small regions on my travels, but I am only a citizen of the South Pacific. I also serve on the SPSF Tidal Force (not the front line). I have taken the responsibility for this Cabinet Minister because I have loved to see the process of cleaning up vulnerable regions and helping them. Thank you.

Hey Vrandaria,

Glad to see someone new stepping up to the plate to run for MoFA.

What efforts have you made to get involved with the MoFA prior to this? What efforts will you make should you lose this election?

Are there any specific FA projects you'd like to conduct beyond just bringing a fresh perspective to the position?
Minister of Foreign Affairs
General of the South Pacific Special Forces
Ambassador to Balder
Former Prime Minister and Minister of Defense

Hey HumanSanity,

Sorry for the delayed response! It usually never takes me this long to respond to someone. So anyhow thanks for the questions! I am glad to answer these and any future questions you may have.

First, I know this may look a little on the inexperienced side, but I haven't actually made much progress regarding MoFA. I plan on doing a lot after this election, even should I lose it. The only thing I would regard as truly part of Foreign Affairs I have done is my presence in the SPSF Tidal Force, in which I have loved to try to clean up our allies from raiders. I know this has been very brief, but I will explain a little more in detail about what I plan on doing for your second question.

I do indeed plan on doing many things if I lose this election. For starters, I will try to become a member of the Ministry, should I lose the election and not necessarily be the Minister. I don't want to be one of those "I'm here now I'm gone" ; I plan to stick around the subject of MoFA and plan to help as much as I can if I lose. If I do indeed lose, I plan on doing some research on what I can do on Foreign Affairs. Maybe I could become an Ambassador, etc. One duty on this subject is better than no duties. I will continue to run for Minister of Foreign Affairs because I love this type of job and am devoted to serve the South Pacific in this way. If I lose, I will know to get some experience on this issue.

Per say, I don't have any specific projects on what I want to do as Minister of Foreign Affairs. Essentially, I would just like to communicate with our allies and receive intel on how they are doing. If elected, I do plan on creating better communication through Ambassadors. It is key to making the world a better place. By sending some people to whichever region, ally or not, needs help, we can understand the problem and try and fix it. I am also against raiding, but that ties up to the Defense Ministry, something I do not have any interest of running for. Other than trying to communicate better and understand our allies, I do not have any specifics to what I plan on doing if elected. As you may have read, I am big on leadership. The core of my campaign is about trusting me, and I hope people do. Leadership does not particular mean a "project", but it is the core of why I want to run for this honourable position. Teamwork is also important. I believe the Cabinet should work together on issues that involve many people under many branches. I like to work alone, but on my terms, I would do everything in my power to unite the Cabinet to understand one another. And what is the final key I believe in along with teamwork and leadership? I believe in time management. I have run for this position not only for the reasons above and in my campaign, but because I feel I will act on instinct as fast as I can if needed. Time management is too important to be excluded from this conversation, and I believe we must elect someone with this quality. With all three qualities. I find all these things important, and hope to work on these problems the best I can with the best partners at my side.

Thank you HumanSanity for the questions. I appreciate you taking the time to respond and love to answer any questions you or anyone else may have. I hope you have your answers. If you feel you are not satisfied or have any questions, do not hesitate to ask them. Thank you once again for the questions. I hope you have a great day!

As a newer TSPer, can you give an overview of our current foreign policy challenges and how you would address them?
