Ryccia, I wonder if you have the water flavor things available to you (like mio or whatever) or maybe trying add a tiny bit of lemon? Drinking water is important for your body to clean up inside.

I'm assuming clean but tastes like dirt has something to do with the quality of the water, probably its unfiltered?

Also, what kind of milk is available to you? (As in pasteurized or powdered or fresh ?)

1. Yes, I think. Do things like Crystal Light count? My mom used them before, but something happened, and she stopped using them. And I don't like sour taste.

2. If I drink water, its either from my refrigerator or bottled water. And they both taste awful.

3. I don't know actually, but the milk I tasted, I think it was from a little carton or a gallon, and I think it is... pasteurized? And what's powdered milk? Milk made with powder?

I also eat cereal without milk for that same reason.

Powdered milk is milk turned powder.

I get the point of different tastes for water... I don't like the taste of tap water, but there are some good mineral water companies in here. Is mineral water expensive there?

Mineral water is generally fizzy.

I live outside of town, so we have to get our water from the well. Stuff tastes nasty, which is why we generally buy large jugs of pure water from the store and refill them periodically. Costs a bit more, but the taste is worth it. Downside is I now cannot drink any other water, because it tastes disgusting to me.

Not true. Mineral water is usually tap water with added chemicals because going to these mountains, burns (streams), rivers and loach's (lakes) cost a lot of money. Tap water is better for you plus if you live in Scotland its free!!!  I love tap water but I hate bottled or mineral water.

To Ryccia. My old friend's sister didn't like milk either only flavoured so she never had milk in her cereal either. On the water thing that is a wee bit strange as water is the most important thing on this planet. Have you tried diluting juice? You can buy bottles of it at 42p or more depending on which one you buy.

And yes, I do recognize that water is an essential asset to human life, but gosh, its disgusting for me.

And I like juice the way it is. Apple juice, grape juice, orange juice, that carrot-mango or whatever(like Mistic) juice, fruit punch juice, cherry juice(only the caprisun one), etc.

We got one of the largest aquifers in the globe below us (the Guarani Aquifer), so natural mineral water is pretty common. Also, we differentiate both kinds: "agua mineral"=natural, and "agua mineralizada"=tap water with added minerals... I don't like the second.
