Due to the inaction of the World Forum, Stoinia has taken matters into its own hands. After the Imperial Frost Federation preemptively invaded Spiras which in turn was invaded by Denverian Nationalists, Stoinia received the formal approval to intervene in both conflicts by the legitimate governments. Despite cries to end the barbarities taking place in Denver to the World Forum by Ambassador Segărceanu, no help came from the international community at large. However, King Andrei III had no intention of the cousin nation Spiras to fall into depravity once again. Neither by external nor internal factors. Hence Task Force Spiras was allowed passage through the Frost naval blockade and succeeded in an amphibious assault around the city of Little Sedunn. Stoinian forces now continue to pursue and liberate Spiras from the nationalists. In Denver, Stoinia also changed to a proactive role instead of mere hospital security forces. In both nations, the Stoinian Air Force holds near complete air superiority as all enemy air bases have been bombed. In addition, Stoinia has imposed a no fly-zone over Spiras and Denver to contain any international retaliation following the deteriorating state of both nations.

However, tragedy stuck as the Denverian Nationalists were able to sneak into nuclear warhead silos and unleashed two nuclear missiles on Starton and Hawk. Now that the two cities are devastated, Pacifica remains in shock as to how the situation was able to escalate. Ambassador Tudor Segărceanu however continues to criticize the World Forum for its inaction and will move forward to inquire about a formal debate on a standing World Forum peace keeping force and potentially a resolution concerning sanctions on new developments of nuclear weapons. Though it remains unclear as to when these resolutions or debates would actually make their first draft.
Furthermore, Ambassador Segărceanu pushed further pressure to remove Ryccia from the World Forum for its continued disregard to international law and unlawful intervention in bombarding Denverian Nationalists. Tensions were also extremely heightened as the Sicullite Island Fleet was mobilized and a potential stand-off could have taken place between the Stoinian, Frost, and Sallodesian fleets against the Ryccian fleet. Both Sallodesia, Myria and Emerald-Denver have stated their support for this motion. It's as of yet unclear what the international community at large thinks about such a proposal. Though with the military coup that has taken place in Ryccia and the disregard to human rights by the military junta, more nations are likely to follow.

Some critics, both foreign and domestic, have voiced concerns about the aftermath of Stoinian intervention in Spiras and Denver. Defence Minister General Valeriu Codreanu has announced that the Stoinian military would like to send attaches of advisors and trainers along with military hardware to rebuild the Spirasian and Union militaries. Either in command structure or renewed hardware to ensure a better defence against missile strikes. The civil war has sparked many failings in both militaries which General Codreanu aims to resolve. Formal talks will continue with both governments.
The Vlaicu administration has also declared that Stoinia will help with the economic rebuilding of both nations by sending massive monetary packages and construction workers to restore the broken nations. In addition, further radioactive measures following the nuking of Starton and Hawk will also be handed to Emerald-Denver to contain the catastrophe as much as possible. Though the fighting must first end before any of those plans can be enacted.

General Noica officially inaugurated as the Concordia Entente's first Secretary-General
The Sinaia Tribune. 24th June, 2022.

General Corina Noica at her official inauguration ceremony in Little Sedunn, Spiras.

After General Corina Noica has appointment as the Entente Supreme Commander of the Bareland Intervention Theatre, she now also officially holds the position as the first Secretary-General of the Concordia Entente. Despite being in her headquarters in Little Sedunn, Spiras, a small televised ceremony was held on the tarmac as the General held her inauguration speech among fellow soldiers from the Entente as the Stoinian anthem echoed. This time General Noica arrived on Spirasian soil not trying to fight of a socialist regime, but rather to restore one. Like His Majesty Andrei III, General Noica also volunteered to fight of the Spirasian communists with their own roots from Stoinian communists which at the time was from a national sense of guilt. Now, more than 30 years later, Stoinia wishes to heal those wounds and rekindle with its Tarnian cousin nation. Whatever the differing politics may be.

"My fellow Pacificans. Fellow soldiers. I'm honoured to have received this opportunity to build a brighter future for Pacifica. Not just for the Entente, but also for the rest of the globe. Our mission here in Spiras and Denver is a sign that we will no longer tolerate depravities from past centuries. Stoinia has long remained secluded, but I'm proud to see that we're now looking past our own pastures. The Entente will aim to be a beacon of freedom, justice and democracy as the world decays further. We can build a prosperous and secure future. We will accomplish that."

In addition to her opening words, Secretary-General Noica also explained that a solid command structure has been solidified now that the Imperial Frost Federation's forces in Spiras have joined the rest of the Entente Command Structure in the Bareland Intervention Theatre. Previously the Imperial Frost Federation insisted on a demilitarized zone in southern Spiras neighbouring Reizen which was viewed unfavourably by the Spirasian government in-exile. However, talks have brought the nations together with a new consensus and all Entente forces now have to same strategic goal: to restore the Spirasian government in-exile, retrain the Spirasian military to some extent and operate a joint garrison for the demilitarized zone in Spiras for the coming years once order is restored.
While Noica continues her current military operation in Bareland, she also stated that once the operation is over she will work to make the Concordia Entente a key player in the South Pacifica aiming to prevent disasters that happened in Denver and unjust aggression from the Denverian Nationalists. The current command structure maintained in Bareland will also become a key reference point for the Entente's future operational organization.

The Entente forces under her command from all across the Entente have complemented each other's operations as Gianatlan troops call in Stoinian air strikes as Sedunnic special forces scatter the Denverians behind the frontlines. Progress continues to be made as the Nationalists are driven further inland and Stoinian troops prepare to push for the Spirasian capital. Experts say the military intervention is a success and will likely come to an end within two months. In response Noica has promised to beat those odds.

Ambassador Segărceanu's The Stoinian Sloth
The Sinaia Tribune. 25th June, 2022.

Ambassador Tudor Segărceanu on his way to the Assembly.

In a surprise move, Ambassador Tudor Segărceanu made a documentary deep dive with TV Tribune concerning his diplomatic mission in the World Forum. Ambassador Segărceanu has gained the reputation of a loud man who calls for action by the World Forum. Many in Stoinia perceive him as a man shouting against walls, but TV Tribune looked deeper into the facts to explain the complete perspective of the Ambassador's job. Although the World Forum has its fair share of problems, Segărceanu aimed to explain that the problems won't solve themselves and makes a daring case as to why Stoinia should join the World Forum.

"I believe the World Forum has the potential to be the single most influential organization in the history of Pacifica. Its ideals are sacrosanct to us all, but their implementations have been undoubtedly a rocky start. However, like our space agencies who dream of colonies on Tyr or the moons of Visi and Porea, the World Forum still remains a living proof of human optimism and perseverance. Wars and atrocities could have been prevented if only the World Forum acted more decisively and swiftly. The image that the World Forum has gained in our nation is a false one. The World Forum can indeed have a lasting impact. Despite the current political tensions, we're all still talking to each other. We've all had a rocky start, but our will to improve is what made the World Forum a better institution. Especially the reforms made by Gianatla are ushering a new era of prosperity and indeed action for the World Forum." The Ambassador opened his documentary with these soothing words before going in-depth of the bureaucracy.

He explained how situations like the persecution of the Romordians was boycotted by the United States of Izaakia whereas a peacekeeping mission could have been possible. Likewise the necessity of the Treaty of Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons was focused on. "The tragedy of Startonand Hawk have struck a recent wound in our memory, yet they weren't the first. The tragedy of the Seven Pillars is yet another instance why treaties such as the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons is detrimental to our continued existence. Without the World Forum to combat such reckless usage of weapons of mass destruction, Bareland and Crabry likely would have been a nuclear wasteland already. And let's not forget the need for such treaties as the Ryccian junta proves time and time again when do any statement of any kind."

Furthermore, Segărceanu emphasized the need for Stoinia and like-minded nations to join the World Forum instead of letting the World Forum prove itself. "When you're a father and your son falls from his bicycle, you help him. You don't wait until he finds the right technique on his own. A good father helps him get up and explains what went wrong while setting the example. That's the mentality Stoinia needs to maintain. We proudly boast about our Stoinian Lion who roars forever proudly. Yet when it comes to the World Forum, we've been more of a sloth than a lion. It's time we should treat our place in this institution more seriously. Not just for us, but for the entirety of Pacifica which we all share."

When asked what priorities Stoinia would focus on if it were to join as a full member, Segărceanu gave a firm reply. "I think we should focus on healing Bareland. It's slowly becoming a nuclear wasteland and we need to combat that. If all of the World Forum came together to help the earth recover from the nuclear fallout, we'd do Bareland and its nations a huge favour. Studies have already shown the impact within Stoinian air from those explosions. With each nuclear attack, the whole world suffers. Let us try and save our mistakes as a species for our planet's sake. In addition, the World Forum serves as a perfect jumping point for regulations concerning spacial flight. ASS and SASA has already warned of the growing space debris fields around Pacifica's orbit and global strategy to clean up our planet's orbit would become a necessity if we are to continue to explore the final frontier."

Finally, Segărceanu expressed his wish that Stoinia bear the heavier cross on its shoulder as Stoinia should have done from the beginning. Thus following the documentary's release in multiple nations, the Sunrise Triad's governments are being pressured to hold referenda following the many cries for a broader international engagement. Analysts noted that this reaction was likely sparked by the final shot of the documentary in which Segărceanu with a sharp remark: "For the Stoinian Sloth, the way is an obstacle. For the Stoinian Lion however, the obstacle is the way."
