Moon Deep State Shill Joined:       Jan 2021 Posts:       569 Threads:       26 Rep:       276 Credits: 2,040¢ #1 12-13-2021, 01:12 AM    PRESS RELEASE       MINISTER’S SPECIAL REPORT ON RECENT OCCUPATION DEFENSES   From the Office of the Minister of Defense, 12/12/2021   Fellow South Pacificans,   At major update on December 12th, invaders from Lone Wolves United attempted to occupy a vulnerable region as part of the annual Christmas raids that occur around this time of the year. With their usual target, the region Christmas itself, being preemptively protected by defenders who foresaw the upcoming raid, they turned their nefarious gaze to less conspicuous targets.   However, even the best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry. Vigilant defenders watching the coast spotted their preparations and rang the bells, managing to muster over twenty updaters in a moment’s notice to send the invaders packing. The invaders would go on to attempt five jumps over the course of an hour and thirty minutes, and not succeed in any of them. Four of those attempts were blocked by our vastly overwhelming numbers, including the thrilling last jump where we inched them out on a very short one-second trigger that left little room for error. The sole attempt that was not blocked by us was a miss, as they whiffed their trigger and missed their target by a considerable margin. Completely defeated and utterly demoralized, the invaders retracted themselves back to their den as update came to an end and we broke into celebrations for a job well done.   Five of the brave soldiers that responded to the call were members of the South Pacific Special Forces, second highest among the militaries present in the battlefield at that time and a testament of the great strides of progress we’ve made over the course of this year. It’s honestly amazing to have this many people ready to promptly rise up to the challenge even with a resurgent invader faction and I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who were out there in major update.
