I'd be interested in getting a general overview of what Legcomm does each time they look through an application for legislator (unless such information is not supposed to be public, of course). The Legislator Committee act sets out what legcomm is supposed to discern about the candidate, but as it is a law it does not specify how they are supposed to achieve that.
Without such information, any discussion on how to improve the speed and efficiency of legcomm is rather pointless.
