Resentinian Parliamentary Politics 101:
Liberal Democrats- 45% of the Parliament, current majority party. Strong Liberal/left views on most subjects, most comparable IRL to Bernie Sanders, Leftist US Democrats, or the less radical factions of UK Labour Party.
Federalist Republicans- 30% of Parliament, Current large Minority party. Relatively moderate views, most comparable to IRL Moderate/Centrist Parties.
Libertarian Socialists- ~12% of Parliament, small minority party. Have Libertarian Social and Government views, but also several Liberal economic views.
Independent Conservatives- ~5% of Parliament, small minority party. Strong Conservative social and economic views, some are also Monarchists. Comparable to the IRL Tea Party movement/Radical Republicans.
Social Libertarians- ~2% of Parliament, small minority party. Strong Libertarian Social and Economic views. Broke off from the Libertarian Socialists ~2002 after deeming the party not Libertarian enough.
Other Independents- ~1% of Parliament. Made up of small parties that are generally only located in one Region of Resentine. Generally made up of Moderates who don't have an interest in joining with the Federalist Republicans.
I'll probably go into deeper detail at a later time, but, this pretty much sums it up for now.
