Any...plans for couping Balder?
*rubs hands*

Anyway...
1. How do you plan to recruit more members into the SPSF?
2. OOOOOH WHAT OPERATION
3. Are there any specific plans for honoring SPSF members?

Oh no, I'm making it better. Tounge

First, there should be exposure to what the military is doing, making people think "ooh, this is great, such honor, I want in on this".

Second, it helps reaching out to nations directly via personalized telegrams. This is how I recruited Viet back in 2016.

I don't want to say too much. I've talked to the SPSF General Corps as well as a few select people from allies with it. It would be a training exercise worth the name, and involve either "SPSF and friends" (i.e. TSP and allies), or be all feeders.

SPSF soldiers would get accolades through reports and promotions.

So basically, as far as MoMA goes you are probably the best and most qualified person in the region. I am very excited to see you actively take SPSF under your wing in the coming term. In regards to that I have a few questions:

1: R/D has taken a pretty big activity hit in recent months, you looking to put SPSF at the front of a new wave of active updators? As a result, will you have us align closer to defenderdom or raiderdom? I'd like your reason for you choice.

2: Do you have any plans for pushing to fill the currently open General position? Got any names you are considering?

3: Would you be open to renaming the Mermaid Legion to SPAM the South Pacific Armed Militia? (Clearly it's the superior name ;p)

Great questions, Serres, thank you!

Hopefully! 2016 really saw SPSF go from irrelevant backwater military to front and center of attention through the efforts of Imki, Viet, and myself. I think we can repeat that.

(Fun fact: I'm running for the October 2018 elections. Last time I was elected MoMA was in the October 2016 elections. So, the time of the year is right! Tounge )

As for alignment, I like where SPSF sits right now, which is defender-leaning unaligned. That means, SPSF principally does what it wants, but for arbitrary R/D, SPSF has significant cooperation with the defender side for mutual benefit. There is a significant level of trust there, for example, there are two SPSF soldiers that have the "Update Command" rank in Libcord, a position that is usually reserved for nominal defenders only. I don't see a reason to change this setup.

I'm not in a rush to fill the vacant General position. SPSF operates just fine as it is. When somebody is ready to become a General, it will be very apparent, and then I'd absolutely throw my weight behind it. We don't have anybody for that yet, though.

My focus would rather be to fill up the normal ranks (Trainee, Soldier, Officer, Commander) a bit. Those are sorely lacking.

Most of Escade's styling didn't really survive after her term anyway (which is somewhat of a shame, because there was some good stuff there). I'm open to any reasonable suggestions, including yours!

TSP will pile it's enemies with SPAM. Confirmed.

RE: GUNNERY SEARGENT ROAVIN - Amerion - 10-06-2018

Which part of Escade's styling might you retain?

I mean, again, there isn't much of it left. What has lived on is the new motto "Lux Veritas Virtus", which I vastly prefer over the old "Nulli Secundus" and I'd seek to retain that.

RE: GUNNERY SEARGENT ROAVIN - The Serres Republic - 10-07-2018

After a long and serious thought on the matter. I would like to publicly endorse Roavin as MoMA for this term. He has everything we could want for the position and is more then capable of making SPSF into a real gp leader once more. I am speaking as a candidate for PM when I say that you should give your vote to Roavin. Under his management SPSF is guaranteed to be amazing.
