Hi.

So.

Here's the thing.

This is me:

Plaid shirt. Chilling out. Still dreaming about couping Balder. But there's the 1000 yard stare - I've done some military stuff. I've raided, defended, refounded, griefed, liberated, besieged, chased, triggered, and all of that with the best of them, since June 2016. Some of the stuff I've done:

Soldier in SPSF (South Pacific Special Forces) since June 2016
Minister of Military Affairs from October 2016 to February 2017
SPSF General since June 2017
Recruited and trained USoVietnam, who is SPSF' best and one of the best military gameplayers in the entire game
Led the premier defender organization of NationStates for a year (February 2017 to February 2018)
Organized and directed some of the largest liberations
Founding member of Ruining Nazi Sandcastles (which SPSF participates in), which did a bunch of anti-Nazi and anti-Fascist missions in 2017
Invented several military practices in use to this day
Helped (with USoVietnam) to make SPSF the most skilled GCR military in the game
... much more

There are these Cabinet elections going on, including for Minister of Military Affairs. So I'm wondering - who could do it? It's not an easy job - we need to do some new recruitment, we need to upkeep our training efforts, and given that we're a very highly skilled military, it can't just be anyone. In my estimation, there are four people in TSP right now who have the chops to be the front face of the South Pacific Special Forces: Somyrion, Serres, USoVietnam, and myself. Somy, Serres, and Viet all have other ambitions right now, and so that leaves me.

Well, then. Not an issue. I always have, and always will, gladly serve my home region, and it seems that this is the time to do it again. So let me put on my hat....

And now, TSP. SHOW ME YOUR WAR FACE!

Here's what you can expect:

Recruiting fresh faces to SPSF. Last time, I did this, we got none other than USoVietnam.
Build up our reservist forces. I've done this before in the Wardens, where I created their Guardian system.
Working on retention for military members. Regions like TNP and TP have a regional culture where it's honorable to serve in the military (in each case for different reasons). We should have that too.
Some of the best military training in the game. Ask USoVietnam or Serres about how good it is.
Ops with our allies. I already have a specific plan for a huge operation which I've shared with the General Corps and select allies. It's gonna be lit, y'all.
Educating military members in the ways of the Cabinet, through instruction and through appointment of one or two Cabinet deputies, to make new motivated and highly skilled individuals that can become Ministers of Military Affairs going forward.
Keeping the Assembly up to date on what SPSF is doing.

Conflicts of Interest Declaration:
The South Pacific: My home region. Legislator, Forum Administrator, Discord Moderator.
Lazarus: Citizen, Court Justice.
Fort Triumph: Purely cultural region where I occasionally dabble. I'm a so-called "Western Destiny Railroad Representative" there.
Ruining Nazi Sandcastles: Founding member, and so-called "Buckethead" which is the equivalent of a Commander, where I represent SPSF.

TL;DR

Vote Roavin. He knows how to do this. He's done it before, and has proven he can do it well.
