Making the new guy do the work :p

Totally willing to do that though!

That was our initial plan XD

(We also resorted to a random number generator, which picked Escade XD)

With Lavoret declining to run, the three official candidates are @Drall, @Punchwood, and @rolandarmstrong

Voting will begin in about 36 hours.

Spenty, sorry I had to decline but FA taking up all my time. Maybe a different term Tounge

I do have some questions for candidates:
1. What do you see as the goals of the party?
2. What are some ways you think the APCRC can be improved? What should we change? What is working?
3. What one project or thing do you want to do to help improve the APCRC?

Thanks Smile

RE: August 2017 APCRC Special Election - Punchwood - 08-25-2017

While I had every intention of running, it's quite clear I did. I have, after some thinking, come to the conclusion that both the party and region need new leaders in charge and not more older members like myself. While I may never have held a position in the APC I am still an "older" (there are members way older than me thought Happywide) face in the region and so I do not believe it would be in the best intrests for me to run.

As such I withdraw from the race, and may the best candidate win.

Thanks for the questions! Smile
  1. For my main focus for the party as a whole, I'd like to try and create a sort of gameside branch of the APC - perhaps a project for the Regional Relations Committee, or perhaps an entirely new branch. Nevertheless, I feel that this is an area that we can capitalize on, an area that has vast potential.
  2. If there's one thing I can draw from this election, it's just how flawed our election system, and really a fair of our charter, really is. This is huge area for improvement and change, and quite essential for the wellbeing and functionality of our party. I'd also like to try and open things up for APC members to discuss matters of import more easily with APCRC members - right now it feels rather hard to do so, so a minor area for improvement here. So far I think the APCRC has done a great job identifying issues, so now's the time to solve them! The party on a whole, aided by its excellent leadership, has also done an amazing job in terms of recruitment and getting ourselves out there - making statements on interregional affairs and so on!
  3. See the first part of 2.

1. Main goal: My main goal is to expand APC membership. A similar thing between Drall and I is that we both agree that an on-site branch would help.
2. One thing that can be improved by the ACPRC and the party as a whole is more activity, be it encouraging both existing members and new members to take on new projects.
3. This is the same question Tounge

The campaigning portion of the election is now over. We will now move on to the voting period which will last for 5 days, or until all party members have voted.

You can vote for one of three options:
  • Rolandarmstrong
  • Drall
  • Re-Open Nominations (RON)

Let the voting begin:
