Fellow party members, following our acquisition of new members, which increased the required amount of APCRC members, the APCRC has has voted to hold a special election for ONE new APCRC General Member seat.

The charter stipulates a 20 day election process, it will be broken into a 3 day nomination period, then a 5 day campaign period, then a 5 day voting period (or until after all members have voted), finally 7 (or more depending on the vote length) for a transition.

With that, I now open up the three day nomination process. Note: You may nominate yourself

Roland's Campaign!!

Greeting fellow ACP members,

    For starters, for the benifet of those who do not know me, as I'm relatively new, I'd like to introduce myself to the party. I am Roland, I don't really go for any other names. I've been playing NationStates for a while now. I started out as a native, with stints in Exodus and TWP. Then, the same real life friend that introduced me to NS introduced me to raiding region Firehelm. I was an active tag raider, but I've lost a lot of activity, mostly due to the merger, and the fact I ended up in H Y D R A. Raiding and a lack of activity amongst my fellow raiders made me a lot less interested in raiding, so I decided to join TSP, mostly because Roavin was the Prime Minister. Despite me being a raider and him being a defender, I've looked up to him for a long time. Anyways, onto the campaign.
    If elected, I have three main goals for my term.
    -  Advocate with the Foreign department to try and push through a treaty with the New Pacific Order. While this is unlikely, it wouldn't be impossible. While difficult, if negotiated correctly, a treaty with NPO could be mutually beneficial.
    -  Encourage APC recruitment. Working directly with the chair and vice chair to do recrutment would be something that I would enjoy. I think that collaboarating more with the on-site community, and encouraging them to join via the RMB could work. We could also hit people with telegram bombs.
    - Re-form the Elections act and the judicial system. Both of these parts of our charter have fundamental issues that need to be addressed to re-balance power and ensure check and balances.
    With that, I open the floor to any questions. Be sure to ask me anything about my opinions on TSP, or NS in general.

@rolandarmstrong Why would a treaty with NPO be beneficial? Why should the APC get behind this treaty is we were to decide to as a region?
