I'm getting sick and tired of the silence from Republicans. It's always "now is not the time." Fuck that shit. They literally whine about 31 cases of voter fraud, but now is not the time to address gun violence. Moment of silence after Sandy Hook, after Orlando, now Las Vegas. That's all they do. Then we all act as if everything is normal until the next mass shooting.

Zondag met Lubach, the same show that made the "America First, Netherlands Second"-video uploaded this as reaction to the mass shooting:

In Texas, an active shooter at Texas Tech has been arrested after killing a cop. Several of my best friends go there as well.

Property Markets in Singapore set to bubble as a privately owned set of condominiums has been paid USD 1 billion for it to cede control to the Government. Other deals where private built condominiums are being sold to the government for ontrol is commonplace as my parents are making potential profit from this clusterfudge of events. Analysts fear of another property bubble similar to that of Hong Kong: Enough houses for all, too pricey for the majority of people and a shitty land management.
Goddamn government eating up people's homes. They found their dream homes and then it gets bulldozed & they have to hunt for homes ONCE again

Turkey has been really fishy over the years. Can't think why. It's just the vibe.

Various towns in the West and North are reporting leptospirosis cases, >30 cases or so. The central government is doing laboratory tests to confirm or deny this.

Well, there was that coup attempt last year. Turkey's government has been pretty much dictatorial since then; they purged tens of thousands of people out of the army, the judiciary, public administration and the like, on the reasoning they were part of a group that was supposedly behind the coup, but clearly done to kick out dissenters. President Erdogan has also given himself more power since then.

As I write this, the Medical Center of Río Piedras, one of our most important hospitals ever, is, for the fourth time, with no electricity.

Also, Paul Ryan and some Congressmen are visiting. Hope Congressmen are more serious and logical than Trump. I can only hope...
