The Izaakian Foreign Office has advised against all travel to Besern and Absolutan. Emergency evacuation planes have been sent. Ambassador Dr Stella Blanc will send home all non-essential embassy staff and put the embassy in besern at maximum security.
It is understood the prime minister Valkyrie Mountbatten is considering a peacekeeping force to enforce pre-conflict borders.

Voting for FiHami's Prime Minister elections commenced early this morning and are set to end in a few hours.
The official ballot lists Kilaui Kuri, Texeteti' Kilaweioni, Kaitlin Darcy, Tufexe'i Kilaweioni, Daniel Green, Barbara Johnson, and Re-Open Nominations. There is also a vote to institute the Constitution of FiHami (Konstitu ki FiHami). Results will be available as soon as possible.

Texeteti' Supporters have been attributed with causing general chaos and confusion in FiHami's attempts at counting the votes, shutting poll workers out with protests, some of which are violent.
"Kilaui Kuri should rest assured that Ha'Finix wills her in the seat for Prime Minister. And a vengeance will fall on Texeteti' for his crimes against FiHami and humanity, for he has angered Ha'Finix." High Priest Skai Ofiri posted on his Stream account earlier today.
"This is an affront to democracy," Kilaui Kuri told an independent news outlet this afternoon. "Finix has gone on about the people's rights to vote, Texeteti' and his supporters are absolutely desecrating the legacy Finix left behind for us all with his idiotic conspiracy theories and blatant lies."

The only remaining religious connection is Empress Astrids role as Head Priestess of the Temple of Oceanus.
