Data processed by Synapse and The Hive suggests that by taking simple anti-corruption steps Izaakia could more than double its annual growth rate from 2% to 4.3%. The regions of Brodlancia and Montaica could similarly increase annual economic growth from 3.5% to 9%.
Home Secretary Philipe Sainz is understood to be advocating taking these actions at a cabinet level and is going to launch legislation later this week.

Izaakia legalises giving bribes as a part of its anti corruption program. Under the new rules, people who give bribes will receive a refund on their bribe should the person who receive a bribe be convicted. It is believed that a large reason why corruption exists is due to a climate of secrecy.

BREAKING NEWS: MP for Dirty City, Elena Mendoza, has been immediately suspended from sitting in Parliament by the Speaker after she publicly threatened him during Prime Minister's Questions. Ms. Mendoza will be interrogated and investigated by the police during this time. Her suspension is due to end at the close of business on 30 June 2021 but whether she returns to her seat in Parliament or not will be decided by the police.

Following a survey of Izaakian women the government reverses 20 years of policy on reducing light pollution, and commits to vastly expanding street lighting in order to make women safer at night, which is especially important in parts of Izaakia that are experiencing permanent nighttime right now due to the winter solstice. Although Izaakia has one of the lowest crime rates against females in Pacifica, President Blanc has promised that no woman be left behind. Other measures that are being trialed include additional additional police presence on streets, sos buttons on lamp posts, and additional CCTV measures.

During the trip the fleet will visit Key allies with stops at IAF Cadmium in Qaweritoyu, and in Hai Men in Huawan. During the trip the Manta Fleet will assert its rights to free passage through the straights of the Serevan Sea and the sea of frost.

The Gianlucian Ministry of Defense has responded to Izaakian plans to circumnavigate Cordilia: "We were not involved into the plans of this operation yet. We're open for talks in regards of passing through territorial waters of GI-Land, but if those don't take place, we will not let the fleet pass"
