"Bridging the divide" doesn't mean we aren't allowed to clearly delineate between the game-side and the forum-side when those divisions are very real. There's still a separation there that we can't ignore.

I really think it's a bad idea to thrust RMBers to power in the CRS when they have no real connection to the legitimate forum government. I don't want to call him out in an insulting way, but we did that with Aram and then he ran for delegate on a platform that basically the entire forum government system isn't legitimate. It's very important to me (and many others, I suspect) that members of the CRS really understand why the forum community is important, why our government rests here, and why coups need to be opposed every time. I don't see how somebody can truly have those qualities if they aren't long-term members of the forums.

That being said, I would consider adding an observer member from the game-side. The Delegate is already integrated into it, as well.

As I've said, they don't need to be fully involved and I imagine they wouldn't want to be. And, for some people, it would be silly. But, right now,  think we have two people who are more than capable of holding endorsements and influence in the region.

We're still going to approve people so it's not like it's everyone. But I'd really like an exception for some people. Even if it's just something like ... declaring someone a "non-threat" and letting them have higher endos.

The Assembly still has to approve applications, so putting up further restrictions is unnecessary.

Working Group Drafts - sandaoguo - 05-05-2016

CSS membership hasn't ever been denied, by my recollection. Assembly approval is largely a rubber stamp when it comes to that, if we're being honest.

I disagree; people who wouldn't be approved by the Assembly don't apply.

RE: Working Group Drafts - Tsunamy - 05-06-2016

Let be real — no one is going to apply to the Assembly if they aren't legislators. So both angles of this argument are moot.

RE: Working Group Drafts - Farengeto - 05-09-2016

Quick note, the t is missing in "Holiday Ac".

Just to check on procedure here, how would our post-GC election work? By the time that election is finished we'd be a week from the next scheduled election.

RE: Working Group Drafts - Farengeto - 05-09-2016

Quote:2. Special Elections

(1) Following the passage of the new Charter and laws, the following members will be appointed to the Election Commission--
a. Administrator??, for the Forum Administration Team
b. CSS??, for the Council on Regional Security
c. Feirmont, for the High Court
Noticing we still had this. We need a member of each who does not intend to run for election this term.

Military code still refers to the Minister of Military Affairs as the Minister of the Army. I've honestly been waiting a week to see if anyone else would pick that up. ^_^
