We can post-pone Cabinet elections until June, I suppose.

Aside from the CRS requirements, are there any outstanding matters of debate?

Tonight, I plan on doing some number work about influence to see if a lower number is possible while still maintaining our security. I'll post my full analysis.

And we do need to finalize the election commission. Eluvatar is still an admin, so perhaps we can ask him to fill that spot. It's probably time for members of the CSS and Feirmont to decide if they're going to run for office, so we can appoint different people as necessary.

I have a bunch of suggested alterations, ranging major issues I've brought up to more minor ones I haven't. I have a semi-complete google docs which I need to finish with them all in.

Two things: First, I think we should probably outline how we want to phase in the new elections and what we're voting for.

Second, one of pieces I really liked I wrote into my draft was that if there was any legislation that altered in-game nation rights, it needed to be passed by a vote in-game. Is there any way we can add that?

There's a continuing resolution at the bottom of this post: http://tspforums.xyz/thread-4023-post-125946.html#pid125946

Based on Awe's thread, we could hold elections at their schedule time on June 1, and only need a special election for Delegate.

What are the rights, if they're different from the Bill of Rights already included? Also, any amendment to the Charter that directly affects the game-side has to be voted upon there. That requirement is under the Amendment Process article. Is that what you're looking for?

Just to recap some changes I believe we've reached??:

- Adding an LC observer to the CRS
- Changing the CR to match Awe's election schedule
- Possibly lowering the endo requirement? (Elu updated the TSP security Google Doc, and I harvested influence data so I can make some charts on distribution.) My guesstimate is that we can lower it to around 50k influence, which the about the lower bound of the current Apprentice level in TSP.

Do we need an LC observer? I think we need the ability for non-legislators to be involved in the CRS. Not just observers.

I expressed my objections to that, because it's very important that members of the CRS value the legitimacy of the forum government. That's not likely to be the case when they've never even joined the forums. I believe your response was that, if that's the worry, then non-legislators can be added without voting power. Your idea was to allow players who served for 2 or so terms in the LC to be considered, and possibly with a special status.
