I'm currently reading the 'Gone' series by Michael Grant. I'm up to the book 'Plague'. It's quite long so... I'll be reading it for a while.

And not watching anything at the moment Happywide

I love that series.

Began watching the first episode of Powers this evening. Got to the ad break. Thought, Meh and went and did the dishes.

So apparently I do occasionally know when to say no.

It's a bit shed to explain but it basically goes like this.
(Spoilers cos I can't explain without them).
To stop a nuclear power plant disaster an autistic kid with powers creates this dome around a fictional Californian town. Anyone over 15 is transported outside the dome and kids inside begin to develop mutant powers. It's all about survival and things inside the area. Some things are a mystery until right at the end.

Sounds really interesting!

My daughter has just finished watching Toy Story 3 for the first time, and I'm feeling a little emotional myself.

Ok...
I don't really understand what's emotional but I don't have children so...

RE: What media are you consuming at the moment? - Seraph - 05-14-2016

Actually, Toy Story 3 is mostly emotional for me because I've been through the whole leaving home and heading to University thing, plus all the memories of childhood, etc. It's a brilliant film because of how well it evokes all that.
That said, I do get much more emotionally affected by things done my daughter was born, including things I never thought would. That's pretty normal, I believe.

Toy Story 3 is really emotional, can't argue with that. Especially if you can relate to it. Especially if you're nostalgic. Especially if you let the soundtrack get to you.

I ended up watching Eurovision this year and I am just soooo excited! Ukraine won it, Aussies are second, Russians are third, Bulgarians are 4th, and Lithuania was 9th. I am very glad for Lithuania just so ya know!!! (Mostly cause I am part Lithuanian)

RE: What media are you consuming at the moment? - Seraph - 05-14-2016

I haven't watched Eurovision in years. This year would be quite poignant for Brits, I guess, since the guy who used to present it for the BBC passed away at the beginning of the year. Not that that's why I didn't watch. I just don't feel like I can commit to an entire evening of it.
