Assembly Resolution on Delegate Elections - Awe - 06-08-2016

The following is an Assembly Resolution to cancel the mandated regular election for Delegate, in favour of the special election to be held in June

This Resolution will be passed if 50%+1 of voters vote in favour.

The vote will last for 3 days. The vote will end on 12 June 2016 at 12:00am (GMT+8) A countdown timer is available here.

Assembly Resolution on the July 2016 Delegate election

The Assembly of the South Pacific resolves that a Delegate election will be postponed until the regularly scheduled July 2016 election.

This resolution supersedes any previous resolutions regarding current elections.

The vote has ended. Results for the vote will be tabulated once a liaison to the Local Council is appointed.

Provisional results indicate that the vote has passed 19-0 (100.00%)

The Local Council representative, when appointed, will get to cast 4 votes.

Pursuant to the recent High Court ruling HCLQ1608, I declare that the Local Council representative did not cast their vote in a timely manner and thus has forfeited their vote.

This Bill is passed 19-0 (100.00%) and shall be promulgated into law
