I think that a more decisive leadership style is more fit for the PM, than the delegate. The delegate doesn't have a lot of executive ability, and there's a good reason for this. Also i don't necessarily see that a leader who rules with the people is weaker than a "big man" leader. I plan on not changing the role of the delegate, but changing how i approach the role. I'm not afraid of an executive decision, but i think that working with people is better than working against them. Ultimately if i am to become the delegate, the things that are in my power are still my choice, but i can guarantee you that getting help from others wont hurt my ability to effectively lead. (No need to apologize, most of a politicians job is to repeat themselves.) |
