The following amendment to the charter is at vote:


In the event that following an APCRC election, if there are not enough elected officials to fill all the seats, the process will be as follows:
If two or more seats are vacant, then a special election for the open positions will commence following the swearing in of the new APCRC.
If only one seat is vacant, then the Chair, with the advice and consent of the rest of the APCRC will appoint a replacement.
In the event that the Chair's position is vacant following an election, the previous Chair will serve as an interim Chair until a special election for the office concludes. The election will begin the moment the new APCRC takes office.


To pass, this requires a 2/3rds vote of the party. The vote will last for 5 days.
