Gregorio Santos kept talking about how he would reclaim Peru's electromagnetic spectrum. As Res told me, maybe he plans to claim part of the Van Allen Belts.

He and Veronika Mendoza were in favour of a greater state intervention in the economy and expressed their intentions to make a new constitution, Santos explicitly saying he intended to eliminate the constitutional mandate for a free market economy. Miguel Hilario and Ántero Flores-Aráoz claimed to be "pro-family" and "pro-life" and Flores-Aráoz said same-sex couples already had access to wills and insurances, so there was no need for greater protections. Alejandro Toledo had really bad preparation, so he always talked way beyond his two minutes, and was always cut off by the moderators.

Keiko Fujimori was alright, and clarified she didn't approve of her father's crimes. Alan García was very calm and focused on his proposals, in the face of Fernando Olivera, who spent his entire debate time criticising him, instead of talking about his own proposals (literally, he only spoke 3 minutes about his proposals). Kuczynski spoke clearly, stayed on the message and felt confident with what he was saying. His only mistake was reading his introductory remarks.

Overall, the debate was rather boring in terms of ideas. It did have some incredibly funny moments with Santos' electromagnetic comments, Toledo being cut off and Olivera wasting his entire debate time. If you speak Spanish, please waste some time and watch this video. xD
