Not to sound sour about it, but... This doesn't make any sense. You expect Bel & myself to provide input into whatever COP comes up with. A debate you have to preside over. But you reject us being part of COP in the first place because you don't want to preside over a debate between us. It sounds like you weren't seeing the forest for the trees, there. That your personal opinions eclipsed merit.

As your say yourself, we'll have input because this must be brought to the full Assembly. That none of the members of COP are highly experienced former Chairs only increases the likelihood that what COP comes up with will be drastically changed during full Assembly debate. That raises the question of what COP's purpose is anyways.

Anyways, I'm fairly consumed with setting up the General Assembly Secretariat, where I'm literally already doing the same thing as COP will be. So I imagine I wouldn't have been as involved as I would've if COP was organized earlier.

So best of luck. Looking forward to critiquing the outcome. Given Roavin's involvement in helping to write our current set of laws, it was a good idea to pick him.
