The Commission on Procedure (COP) |
I want to make a couple points here.
First, while I generally agree that it would be useful to have some more experienced people on the COP, I don't think we can fault Omega for attempting to skirt a Bel-Glen fight. This isn't anything personal against you guys — and both of your input is incredibly useful — but, I don't think the animosity between you can be denied. I know Omega isn't the only person who's attempted to balance this. Second, one of the benefits of having people who haven't been as involved in the drafting and writing of our current legal system means they might be able to reimagine it. Sure, we might want to change it, but it might give us a different starting point. Third, I don't really like the public nature of all of this. I think we're getting really into the realm of hurt feelings. Both from the application process and all of these responses. Moreover, I hope Omega was aware his private message was going to be post publicly, otherwise ... that was a shitty thing to do.
