[2201.PC] EXCESS OF SPECIAL ELECTIONS SUBMISSION 01 APR 2022 | JUSTICIABILITY 01 APR 2022 CHIEF JUDGE KRINGLE DELIVERED THE ORDER. Whereas this Court is empowered by the Judicial Act of Government Island to make use of temporary injunctions compel an individual or institution to do or refrain from specific acts, it is ordered as follows: BACKGROUND Government Island has experienced a deluge of resignations by senior executive officials. This situation has resulted in a need for an excessive number of special elections to be held, to the exhaustion of the citizenry and the principal officials tasked with the administration of elections. TEMPORARY INJUNCTION The Court of the South Pacific for the District of Government Island hereby orders that the following measures take immediate effect:
