Comments: While we are sure, Esfalsa could become a future pillar of the Gianlucian economy, it is clear that out of the geographic location, the Esfalsan state is more tied to Keyli and Central/South Cordilia. In a more and more globalised world, we believe in expanding free trade between nations, that share similar values though. Esfalsa fits into this scheme. At the moment there are no unilateral free trade policies with Esfalsa existing (OOC: Who knows, what we'll talk about later in terms of common Esfalsan-Gianlucian recent history, but for now we assume there aren't.), but the Gianlucian government has agreed in its latest coalition treaty, that it will build up more free trade opportunities until 2025. Today the Esfalsan public is already exposed to several Gianlucian companies, especially in the automotive sector, but also in tech. Audit, Risa, YouWatch and Rollercaster come to mind immediately in the latter economic branch. We hope, we can deepen our econimic ties, especially to further a global green economy and diversify, where we/you get certain products, including base products.

(OOC: I won't fill out the same application for Snolland as my focus won't be on that country for now and also in the future, but you may assume that Snolland also looks for trading partners constantly.)

Sounds good for GI-Land! A general willingness to engage in trade would probably also get Snolland into Phase II with no new policies/action needed.

Comments: Besern is a highly-coveted investment and trading opportunity for especially foreign investors in Pacifica, given its convenient ports and trading hubs in North Cordilia and its prosperous social market economy heavily based on trade. Hence, we believe that investing into the Esfalsan Free Trade Initiative through cooperation on the matter that we hope would come to an agreement that benefits both our economies will undoubtedly bring the greater good for the peoples of both Besern and Esfalsa. We seek the possibility of major investments from Esfalsan companies into Besern to take leverage of the trading and research opportunities in Besern and Besernian companies being able to trade, invest and research in Esfalsa with ease to extend their reach outside Besern and their previously established markets into a possibly underrated and underutilised market that would possibly bring greater profit and groundbreaking technologies that would benefit both the peoples of Besern and Esfalsa and most especially Pacifica.
