This was a great season finale! I was so worried for Glenn and for Daryl!
The Wolves seem like horrific people, worse then Terminus even maybe. Scared because how long can a community last in WD? Gabriel and Nicholas should have died. Gabriel lost his faith when he killed that walker and Nicholas is a coward and dangerous (a very bad combination for a group.)
I read somewhere that with the events in the last two episodes, Rick has been turning into Shane. What do you guys think?

He wasn't wrong though. That little community has no idea what it's like outside the walls. They need Rick and the rest of the group to teach them how to survive out there, because it's only a matter of time before someone screws it up for everyone. Gabriel leaving the gate open is proof.
They had survived so far, though. Gabriel left the gate open, but he was not an Alexandrian.
I guess my point was an observation of how Rick has changed throughout the seasons. I remember how he was so hesitant to kill the kid back in Hershel's farm, and Shane was so adamant that society was not the same anymore. And now we have Rick telling the same thing to Alexandrians, and they insist that murder is not an acceptable punishment. Take Deanna, for instance. She refused to accept it until Pete killed her husband, so I wonder how will Alexandria end up? I kind of liked their peacefulness, and think that Rick should find a balance between cautions and trying to live relatively normal life. To compare, I think Michonne is making a good faith attempt at having things work out for the group, while Rick is not. That's the thing though, the norm has changed. They can't go back to the previous norm and the sooner everyone accepts it, the better.
I have to insist, though. Alexandria was doing relatively well until then. It's only with Rick's arrival that things have been happening. Yes, they definitely could use some security help from Rick's group, but surely not by adopting ALL of his views? I still believe that Dale and Hershel were right: some things from old society are important, and should be kept.

It stems from:
Pete beating his wife. Nicholas sacrificing Noah to save his own skin Rick tried the "old society" approach and it just made things worse, it scared everyone and got Reg killed. Glen sort of had the same idea as Rick when he told Nicholas how it is and what will happen if he gets someone killed again.
I also don't know how well Alexandria would be doing, the Wolves were getting closer and closer and the people inside are not prepared at all to deal with the kind of group the Wolves are.
