Agreed. I also agree with Archerina.

Considering that you would be on the list Todd, your opinion on the matter seems unfairly biased.

Well...

- JAL has couped TNP a number of times, but is still there
- The Empire couped TEP but have since been forgiven. One served as a delegate and an administrator. Others served on the magisterium (assembly).
- Eli has couped TWP a few times. Is still fine over there.

There are other examples. Those are the first three that come to my mind. The point here is that eventually people move on. They find common ground. And, in many cases, letting bygones be bygones can turn out to be rather fruitful for a region. I can't vouch for every instance, but I can say in TEP it has paid off quite a bit.

I can accept that. I don't think anyone would be very happy knowing they were on someone's list of unwanted peoples presented to their citizens.

I won't full defend this aspect of TSP ... but we do take a long effing time to forgive people.

Always have.

Well, then in the meantime I can let my actions demonstrate that I'm here to have fun and uphold the Charter. I like NS as a destresser and stuff.

This is in reply to this: http://thesouthpacific.x10.mx/thread-192...l#pid52787

Osiris, does not have a pre-emptive list. We do have the Persona Non Grata system, but you have to be a non-citizen and literally do something against Osiris to be hit by it.

We have a Pharoah's PNG which is much more reversible and the Deshret one which is hard to reverse. Though, I don't believe we're so hardlined about forgiveness depending on severity of threats.

The only retro active PNGs are usually against people of the likes of Govindia (RL Security Threat) and Forum Destroyers.

I'm not implying TSP should adopt such a thing, but putting that out there for comparison.

JAL was prosecuted several times and Eluvatar considers it one of his greatest failures to not prosecute JAL successfully. It was his inactivity that lead to JAL's multiple cases of treason going prosecuted. He isn't there out of forgiveness, but a failure of the courts to prosecute anyone successfully.

Eli practically is the government - his couping of TWP has little impact on his standing in the region.

If you conducted Toaster in TRR (which you did), Balder, Osiris, Lazarus, or The Pacific (if they had elections) - you'd be mostly certainly kicked out and presumably never let back in the region. Full stop. Anybody who would conduct such a thing lacks a core sense of respect for constitutional democratic governance. You've conducted similar behaviour in multiple GCRs; their democratic governments are your stomping ground. Nobody should be convinced you wouldn't do it again.

Please keep in mind that that list was a set of suggestions by Unibot, not something that would necessarily be implemented.

This debate has mutated beyond my ability to keep up with it, or, indeed, care. It was an idea that I thought would help, but not something I would stand by day and night. So, let's please wrap it up soon, shall we?

So you're saying that we shouldn't reasonably consider the opinion of people who might be put on the list?
