Did you make sure to click the box "Enable my signature in all of my existing posts." when you updated your signature?

By default, the box will be on "No action." unless otherwise changed.

Well on the link thing I think the Director logo is one as when I try to update my signature I can't see it. Is there anyway the mods can update it for me?

What language have you chosen for the forum? I had English (UK) and had some problems. After I switched to English (US) everything was better. Maybe that's the problem?
