2016 in America
#701

So, DWS just resigned as party chair because of the email scandal.

Anyone who questioned Berners' lack of faith in the Democratic Party should take a long look in the mirror right about now.

But after it became clear that he was here to stay, I considered simply staying at home. Then 36 hours ago, he gave his acceptance speech, it was everything that I was looking for in a candidate, and I was surprised because it was what he had been saying all along. I let my fear of a unwarranted fear get in the way of me allowing myself throwing the nation away to the most corrupt person I've ever seen (Hillary Clinton if you can't already tell). When I came to that realization, I knew Trump was the only way especially after what you guys talked about with the DNC rigging it for Hillary, she can't even win by her self and with the private backing of the DNC, she still almost lost.

You could vote for Gary Johnston, the Libertarian candidate. Otherwise, just go to ISideWith.com and answer a variety of questions. At the end of it, it will give you the party and candidate that you most identify with.

Here are my results:

That is very true, I did take that test and I was found to be in align with Ted Cruz and Donald Trump as well as a few Libertarians... The only thing I have against that is the fact that if you vote 3rd party, it almost feels like you throw your vote away (unless that 3rd party candidate actually has a good chance).

Right now, to my most Recent knowledge, Johnson is polling right around 13%, which puts him just under polling qualifications to get him into a debate. So, if you are interested in at least hearing his opinion in comparison to HRC's or Trump's, now'd be the time to give him a hand.

I've seen probably ten or so Bernie signs, three Trump signs, and one Hillary sign overall around my town and state.

Which is pretty interesting, considering that my town is basically run by Tea Party folks and my state is red.

In a true sign of unity Bernie Sanders called for a voice vote to decide who would be the Democratic nominee for President. The Democrats are united unlike the GOP where Ted Cruz refused to endorse Donald Trump. Hillary Clinton is the first female nominee of a major political party to run for President of the United States. This is a huge moment in US politics, and I hope that those on here who have threatened to vote third party will do what Bernie Sanders and unite around Hillary, the next President of the United States.

I'll be the first to say that punch is literally saying the best option for liberals. To split the vote is to hand Trump the Presidency. I will explain if necessary.

Thank you Henn!

You may say that New York can't be flipped but this is Trump's home state and an election of suprises. It was meant to be a Jeb Bush vs Hillary Clinton battle but look at what happen. Donald Trump a complete outsider who everyone wrote off as a joke has become the Republican Nominee for President. Hillary Clinton faced a much harder fight in the primaries against another outsider who people wrote off as a no hoper.

A senior Sanders worker has said that the Sanders campaign has gotten 80% of what it wanted in the Democratic platform. Clinton is a moderate Democrat and she has absorbed a large section of the progressive movement. Your revaluation has pushed the Democrats further to the left, this is the most progressive platform in Democratic history and the revolution can only countine if Hillary Clinton is the next President of the United States.
