It's a long-running continuing project of mine, started it in 2012, made it for an story and for a possible RP. It went down with NSWiki and I've decided to put it up again.

Old flags of Bruuma and Puerto Pollo:

This was the colonial flag of Bruuma, in use until November 2, 1956

This was the planned flag of the Republic of Bruuma, which never came into existence as the Workers' Mojo Party staged a coup. It is still used by anti-regime expatriates.

This was the flag of the Republic of Puerto Pollo, in use between 1898 and 2013. During the Second Puerto Pollo Civil War it was used by some former Army units allied with the FDP, while all militias used their personal insignia.

In Ryccia, Ryccian girls usually give cooked meals as a sign to profess their love to boys indirectly. However, with the globalization trend in Ryccia and the young generations not being so cultural anymore, that tradition is gradually fading away. It is still popular though.

Oh yeah, in Hammerstar, it is incredibly offensive for one to lie. Hammerstarians always know if one is lying, and they can't lie.

Everything they say is somewhat true, and they can never utter an entire lie.

Every September the Stanler Marathon is held. A Lead Runner is picked by the Stanler Marathon Association. It may be a politician, entertainer, philanthropist or someone else. Whoever is Lead Runner will be the one to start the marathon and make a donation to a charitable cause. It is traditional for all runners to donate one Kringle per each kilometer they complete to the cause selected by the Lead Runner.

Did you know that free healthcare is over 400 years old in Ryccia?

In 1601, the monarch of the time introduced a free healthcare system for a healthier and better working population. The governorates would contract doctors for each province. Depending on its size, a province could have had just one doctor or 100 doctors ready to serve.

This made Ryccia's doctor numbers skyrocket as provinces needed more doctors. It is estimated that by 1643 the system was working like it was supposed to. This also skyrocketed the monarchy's approval rate to ~70% around that century, with 83% in 1670 being the highest approval rate ever for the First Kingdom. But, as a result, doctors were paid lower than other nations and it still happens today in Ryccia. Doctors are still paid lower wages compared to other nations.

If you look Nejopia's geography, you see that they are so many river.

The 6 principal rivers, who started in mountain, have mineral water source. These water bottles are very widespread and popular across Nejopia.
While the 3 source in the south are still water, the others 3 source in the east are sparkling water.
So there is a difference between the south and the east of the land, where the consumed water changes according the region. But in the capital city and around the capital city, they like the two kinds of water.

With the pollution who prevailing in Nejopia, some scientists have observed that there is (in low quantity) mercury, plumb and nitrate in these source waters. And even if recently the pollution have decreased, the toxic elements will take time to disappear.

Ryccia's National Anthem

Quote:Glory to Ryccia

Glory to Ryccia!
Standing united!
No one can defeat us,
if we stand united!

Oh, Ryccia!
My motherland!
With your rivers and beauty,
I defend you to my end!

Glory to Ryccia!
Democratic and free!
The will of its people
overcome anything!

Our history and culture,
so rich and endless.
Our peoples will never end!

Glory to Ryccia!
A nation forged in blood and honour!
conquests and rebellion
victories and defeats
grand achievements and fatal errors
our nation knows
honour and acknowledgement!

Onward Ryccia!
We are one!
Ryccian,
Tigonese,
Azimi,
Lyccian,
La Vinian,
Mindonian,
Tal,
Oberusan,
Saini,
Aralian,
Crissenian,
Flowerbellian,
Avazpahahian,
Laiwanese,
Shazonian,
all our peoples!

Onward, Ryccia!
Together, we proclaim progress!
Together, we proclaim freedom!
Together, we proclaim democracy!
Together, we proclaim equality!
Together, we proclaim justice!
Together, we proclaim liberty!
Onward,
onward,
onwaaaaard...
Rycciaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Note: Although Laiwan became independent of Ryccia, Ryccia still kept the "Laiwanese" and "Shazonian" parts in its anthem due to small historical Laiwanese and Shazonian minorities in Ryccia that still exist today. They are small, but their countries and peoples are historically linked to Ryccia.

The Resol'nare, or Six Actions when translated from Old Noctenosian into English, were the central tenets of Noctenosian life during the nation's first centuries of existence. They consisted of wearing armor, speaking the language, defending yourself and your family, raising your children as Noctenosians, contributing to the nation's welfare, and when called upon by the Princeps Excelsum, rallying to his cause.

Although not as prominent as before, many aspects of these tenets are to this day the foundations of Noctenosian society.
