Schools had to be closed? It was that bad?

Damn!

If the PSI forecast was >300 (the highest ever recorded in Singapore was 401, in June 2013), schools had to close. And by schools, I mean primary and secondary schools (elementary and middle schools in America). Junior colleges (High schools) were exempt, so I still had school. The Ministry of Education's reason was that JCs had aircon and we were old enough to handle it ._.

Well, the government isn't doing much either.

The local government is evacuating and passing out masks and aid. But schools and services are still open, making people susceptible to the haze.

National government? I don't know what are they doing..
